Default Stamp Stores in Westchester County, NY or the city

Hey ladies,
We are going home for a visit and I would like to venture out and visit some stamp stores in the area. I have taken up stamping since leaving home and going to college and am clueless as to what may be around....so if you have any fav stores in the Yonkers/Hartsdale/Scardale/White Plains or relatively nearby, I would love to visit them. I am also going into the city with DH for some adult time and would like to visit some crafty spots.

Thanks!

Arrow Here are three in nearby counties (an hour or less from White Plains)

Around the Corner Stamp and Scrapbook Store (Pawling, NY):
http://www.aroundthecornershop.com/

I shop at this store frequently and the staff is absolutely wonderful! Its less than 15 minutes from my home (aint I lucky!). Check the website for store hours. I know it's closed Mondays and Tuesdays but it opens late one day and stays open into the evening. I'd suggest going that day and staying for dinner at McKinney & Doyle (it's around the corner from Around the Corner and is a Zagat-rated restaurant).

Pawling is probably about 45 50 minutes from White Plains.

Creative Gatherings (Goshen, NY):
http://www.creative-gatherings.com/

I have never been to this store but it was frequently mentioned (favorably) on some online groups I used to belong to.

Goshen is probably an hours drive from White Plains.

Lasting Memories (Mahopac, NY):
http://www.lastingmemoriesscrapbook.com/

I attended an off-site crop they hosted and enjoyed myself but the store is more geared for scrapbooking and I love rubberstamping!

Mahopac is about 40 minutes from White Plains.

There are sure to be Michael's, A.C.Moore, and/or Jo-Ann stores within a reasonable distance too so check those stores websites for locations near your destination.

And don't overlook Wal-Mart and/or Target and I heard Odd Lots (or Big Lots?) sometimes has scrapbooking stuff at very low prices.

Have a great visit!

Tina

I love company but you'd have to (literally) sleep on a sectional sofa or the carpeted floor so I don't extend many invitations.

But if are ever down in this area with another place to spend the night I would love to have you visit!
