Question Stamp cleaner...

:confused: Is there a recipe out there for stamp cleaner? I would love to know it.

1 gallon Distilled water, a squirt (or 2) of Baby soap and a couple of TBS of glycerin

That's what I use and it works really well. For Black I use Judikins Fabric & Permanent Ink Cleaner, then my cleaner. HTH

Is the glycerine to condition the stamps?

I believe so I got the recipe off here a few months ago. I made the gallon of cleaner and have barely made a dent in it I also use a spritz bottle (from Wal-Mart's beauty section) and painters edging pads (also at WM) as my scrubbers. I love that I get 2 in a pack and I can throw them away when they get nasty They do clean up pretty well with soap and water though
