Square Scallop Die SU & Sizzix?

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the Square Scallop die that SU carries & the one by Sizzix (Joanns carries this one)? SU claims theirs is available only thru them. They both sure look the same. Can anyone tell me if there is a difference?

I don't own both, but I suspect the SU one is much larger in size. I have seen projects such as patchwork purses made with the SU one.

check the sizzix website.....they list theirs and the SU exclusives.

They list it on the Sizzix site, but then direct you to Stampin' Up! to order it

I am fairly certain they are 2 different sizes. They are both the same size die according to the website, but the actual die cut sizes are different. I think the SU one is close to 5" square, and the one at Joann's is 3.5" or something close to that.

While I don't know the actual dimensions, this is my understanding as well.
