I think I've decided I need one. Does anyone know the best place to get this?;)
Hi
Hope you do not mind me asking:
Since I do not have a die cutting machine yet, just wondering what made you decide you would like one?
There are so many on the market now to choose from. I'm having a hard time trying to decide myself what is the best machine.
I got mine from Hobby Lobby with a 40% off coupon. I noticed this week's coupon doesn't exclude the Grand Caliber either. I would bet that Hobby Lobby will change that soon .....so use the coupon on it while you can!

Thanks in advance.
I got to try the Grand Caliber before I purchased it and was instantly sold. The machine cut my Fleur De Lis die in one pass! Now that impressed me!!
Since I have had a Wizard for a couple of years, I knew that this new machine was something I wanted because of its size and style. The suction feature really keeps the machine in place. The platform is so big that I can cut an amazing amount of dies at once. Plus the embossing powder is wonderful. I am quite happy with my purchase!
Of course, 95% if the dies I own are Spellbinders. So it was a perfect match for me.

I too am looking to get a Grand Calibur for my newly purchased Grand Dies. I can use some of them in the BigShot but really want to be able to use the larger ones in the sets too. I also read on another post that the Calibur does a superb job of cutting and embossing the Spellbinders dies since it is specifically made for them.
I have a question though. On several tutorials, it appears that the machine is quite wobbly and the suction action doesn't appear to work well. My old Cuttlebug locked down tight. I guess the Calibur just has a knob that you rotate. Has anyone had problems with the machine staying put while you diecut?

No problems with the suction for me! I love that feature so much.
Hobby Lobby only gets in one Grand Calibur at a time. I went last week and they gave me a raincheck with the coupon for when one comes in this week. They only keep one per store.

I have the Grand Calibur and the suction works great. If it isn't sticking well, wash the suction cup off, dust/dirt can make a difference!
