My granddaughter who is in the forth grade is making a covered wagon for school and I have volunteered to help. My daughter found instructions using a 1/2 gal. juice or milk carton. Any suggestions you could give me would be appreciated. We were thinking of using the woodgrain embossing folder on tan cardstock then using that to cover the carton. Do any of you know if the Score tape or "red tape" will stick to a wax carton. Thanks for any help you could give me.

The score tape should work. You could also use some mini brads to attach it or even punch holes and run thread or hemp twine through. Is the woodgrain for the box of the wagon? That sounds so cool. For the canopy, you could make sueded paper. If you've never done it, you weaken the fibers of cardstock. You could run it through a crimper several times or over the edge of the table or a bone folder (depending on how big the paper is). The two layers of cardstock should separate so that you end up with two thin sheets with one side smooth and the other "sueded". That could be a really cool covering.

Thanks for your suggestions. I never thought of brads. Yes the wood grain is for the box of the wagon. Also, like your suggestion for the sueded paper.
