But then he is the Prince, and rolls in glitter/sparklies cause he loves bling. He would play the piano if I got him a cape with jewels on it...

The only problem is it gets to be old trying to open those cupboards. Especially if you have your arms full and you are trying to put stuff away. They are kid proof, and half the time that means 'me proof' also.

That's why I haven't done it yet. Now he's looking around to see if I have any craft stuff in the living room!

Does he make that chattering noise when he sees one? I can always tell when my kitty sees a bird because of that noise he makes.

Your thread was featured on Facebook! I got about half way through the first page when Iisis realized that I was interested in something other than gazing lovingly at her and pushed her way onto the laptop, knocking my tea out of my hand (fortunately missing the keyboard). She is now sitting in front of the keyboard; if I did not know how to type with my eyes closed would mean I could not be posting right now.

Will catch up when I have more time. Merry Christmas!

In front of the keyboard is the best seat in the house!

The vet's posted this photo of Zekey for me on FB today. When we dropped her off Tuesday we found out she had lost a pound in the past few months. The vet's posted that she has gained an ounce in the past four days. Whipped cream helps! Hubby gives her whipped cream after he has to give her sub-q fluids so naturally the whipped cream can was packed for her stay at the "spa". The other photo is what she might be thinking about Mommy and Daddy Cat being on vacation.

This innocent-looking cat was not happy with us Christmas day. I have a casserole-dish carrier which usually sits on top of the fridge, where, you guesed it, HERSELF likes to sleep. She has decided it is a lovely cat bed for her. Well I made a casserole to take to my SIL's for dinner, and had to use it. Upon our return, we found a bottle of red wine vinegar on the floor. Luckily the bottle did not break. She had opened a cupboard and pulled/pushed it out. She has never opened a cupboard before or since. I hope she scared herself and won't do that again.

As I may have mentioned on a few threads I love sappy Christmas movies so I was in heaven with the Hallmark Channel Countdown to Christmas this year, which started on Halloween LOL I recorded the most charming Christmas movie called the Nine Lives of Christmas, about a fireman and a veterinary school student who each rescued cats and fell in love, as did their cats. Aw. Did anyone else see this one?

Wow. What a funny little sound. You're black cat is more black than mine I think. I can see many golden brown hairs when light is shining on her.

My cat Ruby is an Oriental cross and is extremely playful. She does High Fives and shakes paws for treats - and I'm trying to teach her to 'roll-over'. When I am in my Craft Room, she always comes in and pokes me with her paw so I will move my chair back & she can sit on my knee. Ruby hates my heat gun and hisses at it whether it is on or not. And if she wants to sit in the window in my Craft Room which goes to the floor, she won't just walk to the window and sit in it: nope - she HAS to hop on my chair to hop on my desk to walk across to the middle window ledge and then hop down onto the floor. So I have to be careful not to leave anything out on my desk that needs to dry like glitter glue or it gets walked across to the window! Of course, she looks so sweet and innocent.....as you can tell by the photo!

This one is still recovering from "vacation"! We picked her up from boarding Wednesday morning. She stalked around the house investigating and meowing and then spent two days on her fabric cat bed which covers our bedroom heat vent. She hasn't eaten much. She threw up New Year's Eve and again yesterday morning. Yesterday morning I was crying because I was afraid for her, she seemed so weak. I had my hubby give her sub-q fluid (she gets it twice/week for kidney failure disease) to keep her hydrated. I have been giving her her pill every morning that stops vomiting. This afternoon she finally ate some food and a little whipped cream and acts interested in what we are cooking. She had her face in my bowl of buttered popcorn. Poor little almost 23 year old doesn't like Mommy and Daddy going away, I guess. Too much adjustment at her age having to stay at the vet's because of her meds. Thankfully she seems a lot better now! WHEW!!!

Aw how cute! Glad she's improving. My bad boy got really sick last year and I had to force feed him kitty milk from a syringe. He started throwing up every time he ate. Then he didnt want to be near food. Then he would sit and look at it but not touch it. After a week or two he slowly began to eat a tiny bit at a time until he's back to wanting to eat 24/7 now!

She's a she (unusual, but apparently ginger girls are more common among Maine Coons than in the general cat population). DH refers to my BS as her BS; she plays with it regularly whenever she can find something on the bench which she can slide under the BS and then poke back out.

I'm so glad I have the magnetic platform; it holds the dies tightly enough that she can't steal them when my back is turned.

Nearly 23? Wow! Congratulations.

The tortie in the background of my picture is 18 now. Back in March she had a stroke and we nearly lost her. She stops eating when anything upsets her. We found Hills AD was a lifesaver; she wouldn't touch anything else, but slowly started eating again when offered the Hills.

We give her her daily meds crushed up in a spoonful of the stuff still. She's now 18 and lives a quiet life; we'll continue to spoil her as long as she wants to carry on.

Zekey is finally pretty much back to herself meowing...demanding...to be fed! Back to sitting by the fridge waiting for food to fall out. We increased several meds with the vet's OK and that seems to be working. WHEW! Soooo thankful!

Kitty found a new sleeping spot.

The other day DH called me into craft room. There were little pieces of white card stock everywhere! I had used my new diagonal quilt die and cut one out if **** but left it lay on the table. Kitty has been sleeping on the chair at my table and decided to have a try at assembling the pieces together. Luckily I decided to use a different solid color or I'd have been mad at the bad boy!

Saw this stamp ( "Krafty Kat-astrophe!") and immediately thought of this thread. I couldn't resist buying it.
