Default Simple stamp cleaning!

OK...so this is probably not news to many, but I was pretty happy about it.

I keep a container of baby wipes on my craft desk for stamp cleaning and also cleaning off my acrylic block, desk, etc. Well, I forgot to close the lid the other day, and when I went to use it yesterday the wipes were all dried up. Ugh.

I remembered that Simple Green is a great stamp cleaner, so I pulled out my Simple Green from under the kitchen sink and sprayed 5 or 6 squirts into the baby wipes... and it works amazing!!!! This may be my new stamp cleaner for good!!

Where do you buy Simple Green? Our WalMart doesn't seem to have it.

Home Depot carries it and it comes in a lemon fragrance.

I just add plain tap water to revive dry baby wipes. I don't want the chemicals or scent on mine. They work just fine for cleaning acrylic stamps or water based markers from rubber stamps.

I also just add water. Be careful with Simple Green it may over time break down your acrylic stamps (not sure about rubber). I also keep a wet microfibre cloth nearby (can find at the dollar store) to clean with as well. When the cloth gets dirty I throw it in the wash.
