Default Sending a stamped image?

Help... I'm wondering if someone knows if there is a standard amount of space to leave around a stamped image when stamping it off for someone? I've never done it for anyone and I was just going to stamp it 4 times on a sheet of 12 by12 . Any suggestions? I want the person I stamp it for to actually be able to use it!
Thanks for your help!

I guess it would depend on how large the image was. Just try to leave room in case the recipient wants to punch out the image, use Nestabilities or stamp something else in the panel. I would think a 4 1/4 X 5 1/5 inch panel would be great.
