Smile SCSers are such NICE PEOPLE!!!

I am just so taken and touched by how nice everyone is here at SCS. Earlier today I commented on a card with the prego lady $1 Michael's stamp. I said I didn't live near a Michael's and couldn't find it when I was there. Well, I've been getting PM's all day from people offering to either send me one or go to their Michael's and look for one for me -- can you believe it!!! One has actually already been mailed to me -- amazing!!!

A similar thing happened a month or so ago with the mailboxes from the Target Dollar Spot. In short order, there was a lovely little white mailbox waiting for me in my mailbox!!! Unreal!!!!

I just wanted to convey this here and to say that when I started poking around here at SCS less than a year ago, I had NO IDEA how much fun I would have, how many nice people I would *meet* and would come to consider friends, even though we've never met in person. I have never before been involved in a cyber-community (is that the right term?), and it is truly astounding to me how much it does feel like a *real* community.

I am sure you have all experienced situations here that have evoked similar feelings. I just want to say THANKS!!! and see if anyone else has anything to share along these lines --

They are wonderful, it's true. I feel really bad sometimes, I just mention something in an offhand, don't think twice kind of way, the next minute there is one at my house. This really is like one big happy family!

I have the same feelings. There are just so many people willing to help one another here(too bad the rest of the world isn't like this)It is almost like that movie Pay it Foward. When someone does right by you , then you should do right by someone else. I literally just pointed this out to my DH last night. I ws having problems with DD's birthday invitation and I had several people offer to help me by using thier die cut machines for me. It really gives you a warm fuzzy feeling inside when people you don't even know can be so nice to you! Kudos to everyone at SCS! WE ROCK!

I couldn't agree more! When my Mother-in-Law had surgery last year she was surprised and thrilled to get RAKs from people who had read my post on here. She couldn't believe that complete strangers would do such a thing! There really are lots of kind and generous stampers here!

Default Nice People

I agree, there are so many nice people on this site! When I notice that someone posts that they can't find something and I know I can, I love to PM them and let them know that I will help out. I am a huge believer of what goes around, comes around, and some day, there will be a pay it forward! Thanks to all the great SCSr's out there!

Amen to everything that has been said. I am not too cyber-savvy, but participated, or tried to, on a couple of other forums. The atmosphere here is sooo friendly and warm by comparison.

Thanks to everyone who makes this such a lovely place to spend time and get support and inspiration.

Oh, and I forgot about enabling. Thanks for all that, too.

Thanks to everybody here, for making SCS a great place to hang out, and tell others about!!

God bless you all... soon I hope I can get out of being a RUBBER OBSESSOR... eeekkk!!

Sharon, I totally 100% agree with you.....My experiences with the Eliza thing....my 21 year old neighbor with breast cancer, pretty much blew me away as far as how compassionate and caring everyone here was. She received so many cards and many of them from people that she received more than one from....I am so happy to be a part of SCS. AND people have done very nice things for me too!

My husband teases me about my imaginary friends but when I get a fun little package in the mail...I (and he) are reminded that they are very very real! It's a happy place......

Cindy, I couldn't help but laugh when you said that your DH calls us your imaginary friends.

This is an awesome bunch of ladies! I recently posted a thread about the new Michael's dollar stamps. The Michaels near me never has any of the new ones, and 3 people pm'd me offering to pick up any of them I needed! I was so touched by their kindess and thoughtfulness! This is such a nice thread. It's good to reflect on how amazing the people here are! Thanks for starting it!

I too agree with all of you. I have made lots of friends here, and two that I consider best friends even though I have only known them for a few months and have never seen either of them in person! Everyone seems to really care about the feelings of others. I spend way more time in here than I should! And now I am into writing in the forums. Oh well, there is always later to dust and vaccum!
