Default Scoring tools

I am wondering if anyone has both the Martha Stewart Scoring Board and the WR Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board. I know you can make envelopes with both and I've seen lots of ideas with the punch board. In your opinion is there a reason to have both? I am interested in your thoughts and observations.

I have the SU score board which is similar to the MS board and the WRMK/SU envelope punch board and yes, I need both.

I never made envelopes with my SU board because I was to lazy but the WRMK/SU board is so easy that I'm always making envelopes.

I love to make boxes & complex card folds and that would be very difficult to do with envelope board. Also, making medallions with the envelope board would take too long.

I don't see this as one or the other kind of tool. I need both and at least they don't take a lot of space to store.

I have both. The envelope board by WRMK can make many more sizes of envelopes than the MS score board. If you make cards of different sizes, then the envelope board would probably be useful to you. I use the MS score board for other things besides envelopes.

I have the SU score board and the SU envelope punch board. Both are totally different to me. I make my score marks for my cards with the score board- I also LOVE the simply scoring borders plate that SU offers to fit over the score board to make great embossing lines!
The envelope punch board makes envelopes a breeze. I don't like making envies on the scoring plate...yes I can but the envelope punch makes them SSSSSSOOOOO much easier. Plus I am addicted to making file folders (my file folder embossing folder storage blog post!) and file folder cards are to much fun!!!!! I have used the envelope punch board on my blog TONS! LOVE IT!!!!!
you NEED both!!!!!! (I love to enable as well!!!!!! )

Like Stamphappy and Scrapjanny, I have both of these, and use them both.

Before I got the punch board, I did make some envelopes with the Martha Scoreboard. They turned out nicely, but do take more time to make than using the punch board.

They are really two different types of tools and useful for different things. I had previously purchased the Martha Board at Mikes with a 50% coupon, so it was only $10 - a good price for a versatile product.

If you can only get one, probably the Martha board is a good option, because you can make envelopes and do many other things with it.

There are tons of videos on Youtube showing what people have come up with using both of these.

Default Thanks

Thank you all! You have helped me justify buying both! Last week I bought the Martha Steward scoring board on sale for $14.99 and then this week I bought the WR Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board for $12.99. I hadn't open the punch board because I started feeling a bit guilty for buying both, but the guilt is over and I am happy!

Definately no need to feel guilty. They both are necessary, as the others have said. I have the MS scoreboard on my tabletop and use all the time for scoring cards and other things. The envelope punch board is pulled out to make envelopes and I make a lot now!!
