Default Scan or Digital Pic?

What do you find to be a better representative of your colors/etc on your card - scanning or taking digital pics? It would be MUCH easier for me to take digital pics of mine...

I think scanners give truer colors, because ambient lighting can dramatically change how colors look. I don't have a scanner, though, so I use a digital camera. Keri (sereikastamper) swears by natural daylight, but I've found that the light from my window really distorts the color of the cardstock so I photograph my cards in the evening, using the incandescent light from my ceiling fan. The colors in the picture always turn out looking like the original!

I find it easier to scan but I think you get a better representation of detail and color by digital pictures. IMHO~
