I keep an alphabetical list of my stampsets, but still have a hard time finding a saying for the card. Does anyone have a list of sayings with the stamp set name that saying is in?
What a friend and I did was stamp all our sets on pages and put them in alphabetical order into a 3 ring binder and separated the sets that were words only from Christmas as well as backgrounds and misc. If you need ideas, scan your binder to remember what you have and it is reference to what belongs with what set.
I scanned all my sets and made a notebook too. I also scan a set when I get it and cut it to fit in the lid. Then I took all my word stamps out and separated them by greetings, thinking of you, holidays, nature related, etc. Then I can easily put the original sets back together using pictures if I want to. It takes a while but it's great to satisfy us OCD ers
There is one here that I downloaded a couple years ago, maybe even three. To my knowledge it hasn't been updated.
I would love to see an updated one.

Don't wait! Start your organization list NOW! Believe me, it's much easier to start now that after you have 513 stamp sets and have no idea where anything is or what you have anymore!
Speaking from experience................... I'm starting a list of my SU! stamp sets with the new catalog release! I can add retired stamps and 'other company' stamps as I have time. ;)
In addition to creating an alphabetized list of my SU sets in MS Word, they're also alphabetized by clamshell size on bookshelves with labels printed on the ends, on clear label sheets in big letters, so I can read them easier than the SU labels on top. I also took a picture of each stamp set on my printer and pasted it into 2 Composition notebooks and wrote the title of the set above each image. Makes is to easy when you're looking for a saying or images to suit your needs for the project at hand. Would love to do the same thing for the other brands of stamps, but I think I've gotten a little out of control with the amount of stamps I'd have to make images of.
