Default Savanah Georgia

Hey friends, I will be spending a week in Savanah Georgia visiting my kids. They have not been there very long so they are pretty unfamiliar. What do I need to see? Any fun stamp/scrap shops. Any insight would be helpful. TIA

I have been to savannah twice and have no stamp/scrap recommendations for you but I will recommend the Morroccan restaurant in the down town area. The belly dancing was fun, tho not great because I have a friend that does such a better job that I am used to really professional stuff, but it was still fun and the food was very yummy!!!

I was there a few months ago. I could not find a scrapbook store. Went to
where one was listed in some kind of directory but the people said they had
moved to another location. When I got there it looked vacant. If you are driving, maybe you could locate some on the trip.
We took a trolley tour while we were there and that was an interesting way
to see some of those beautiful old homes and learn some history. We spend a
lot of time on the riverfront.

I have been there once, but we had a good eat all the way thru town. The buffet at "The Lady and Sons" is a must. We didn't eat here, but Vinny Van Go-Go's pizza is suppose to be great. And we ate at this great little sandwich/ice cream shop on Tybee Island, I think it had lighthouse in the name - they have the best grouper sandwich!

Happy hunting on paper goodies. You can't go wrong eating here!

I live in Savannah. A scrapbook store just opened up in July. It is called Scrapbook Boutique and is located on Montgomery Crossroads (near Waters Avenue). Unfortunately we don't have any stamping stores. We do have a Michaels and AC Moore though. If you like seafood I would recommend the Shell House at 204 and I-95. They have the best steamed Dungeness crab. If you go to the Lady and Sons (which is great), be prepared to wait. The good news about that is that you can carry the pager around and shop at all the stores in City Market that are around the restaurant.

I f you want to travel I highly recommend going up to Beaufort SC. They have a stamp store called Carolina Stamper. I go to Hilton Head every summer for vacation. Other then The Lady and Son's (get there early), try Blue Moon brewing company. They are a micro brewery with a restaraunt (sp) They have awesome pulled pork and chicken.
