I've seen them both, due to some nice people people posting links. Is it just me---I'm not impressed with either one. I've only seen 1 SAB set I like but I don't like it enough to buy stuff just to get it.
I LOVE that SU now gives you the option to buy stamps without the wood blocks but I still can't get excited about buying any new stamps. Sad, huh?!
The Chocolate Bunny and sentiment set (can't remember name of it right now) are the only two stamps/sets that interest me. That being said, there are plenty of other things that will break my pocketbook. Satin ribbon, new punches and Big Shot dies/embossing folders are on my wish list. I think there is something for everyone in this mini. I am dissapointed in the selection of Sale A Bration items to pick from but am sure I'll work it out. Can't wait to actually get my hands on the two mini catties.
I joyfully realized there's very little I'm hankering for in the sale-a-bration or mini. The only think I may get is the butterfly punch. But that's it. Am sure we're going to be in the minority :>)
You aren't the only one. I don't have the actual copies of the catalogs in my hand so I may change my mind when I see them in person. But there really isn't any thing I want in either one. I'll probably qualify for at least one SAB set because I need to get some paper and ribbon and there's still a couple sets from the main catalog I'd like to get.

Interesting. There is a ton that I want from the Occassions Mini but not as much from the Sale-A-Bration so I'll probably be opting for many of the catalog options.
Don't feel bad, lol...I've never seen a mini that was universally loved...to be honest, I've often been thankful when a mini came out that I WASN'T lusting after everything! Much less struggle than when I want it all, kwim?
That's one of the nice things about the mini system, I think. They come out frequently enough that there's someting new several times a year. If one doesn't float my boat, I can save my money....for the next one, which I'll probably drool over, lol!

Wow, got a chance finally to really look it over and I have to agree, nothing in either excites me except for the paper. I do like the DVD stamp storage cases. I have a ton of unmounted stamps and will probably buy these cases so I can work on organizing my stamps so I can actually see them again and know what I have. I'll probably order 11 sets of them so I can get enough of an order together to get the paper from the SAB.
I really like this SAB catty...for the first time in YEARS. The mini is nice, but I'm not positive I'll order stamps out of it. I'm reaching a point where it's hard to find "new" stamps because I already have so many. I'm happy to see SU coming out with new punch ideas...definitely getting that bird punch.
Like others, I'm often very happy not to have many wants in a mini.
When I first did my preorder I only ordered two stamp sets out of the Mini but then as others started posting their preorder samples I started REALLY liking some other sets I didn't want at first! Plus all that Satin Ribbon is gorgeous!

I saw soooo much I loved in the mini. There is quite a bit I like in the SAB catty too. I haven't loved this much in a long time. So, it shows we are all different but the same, as we LOVE to stamp! Right?

Love the choc bunny stamp.. and the SAB sentiment stamp but basically I'll only be getting the SAB punch and a couple of the big shot dies. I like some of the stamp sets but don't NEED them!

I haven't looked through either much other than to pre-order but I really like the butterfly embosslit and the Sweet Pea paper pack out of the Occasions mini and the border punches! I'm an embellishments gal as I have soooooooooooooooo many stamps already
I kind of see these comments on here a lot whenever a new catalog comes out. I think it depends on your tastes and needs at the time. I loved the new paper and there are a couple of stamp sets in both brochures. Ya gotta want to try the clear stamps and what about those new punches. Maybe everyone is not a punch freak like me though. lol
I saw both copies and there were things I liked, but I can't recall anything I love. I won't say it's SU's fault though. I tend to need to see lots and lots of examples using a particular item before I really crave it. So I am waiting to see what shows up in the gallery here, thanks to all of you!
I like the punch and word set in the sellabrations, but am more excited with the sets in the catty that you can now get, instead of just the ones in the sellabration catty. LOVE THAT!! Because I just got back into stamping in March and there is much in the catty that I love.
As for the mini, ohhh I'm going to have to save my money because there are tons in there I want. LOVE it!!!

As a demo, I like less in this mini than the Holiday BUT I'm a total sucker for anything Christmas too. It's good for me though...and my bank account. I will tell you though that I'm falling for more and more stuff everyday when I see what people are doing with it.
You can't please all of the people all the time so as always there will be the people who LOVE it and who don't. I think they do a good job of having a variety of stuff though. Glad for those of you who like a lot of the stuff...maybe the next one will strike a cord with you others....at least there is always the anticipation of seeing what comes out next!
I really like the new Occasions Mini -- great variety of sets and "stuff." But I am with the ho-hum SAB posters; not getting any of the choices but I am THRILLED that I can finish my collection of Extreme sets! So nice to have the option of ordering catalog sets for FREE!
