My 3-year-old DD likes to chew on my stamps. On one of them, the rubber came off the foam and it's not sticky. Any suggestions on what to use to glue it back on?
Just last night I had the rubber separate from the foam on the small r in my brushstroke alphabet. I took some Crystal Effects & smeared a light layer on the foam & reattached the rubber. I checked on it before I left for work this AM & it looked as if it was okay. Guess I'll have to use it & clean it to make sure!! HTH.

I have never used CE, although I have heard that it gets hard. Not sure if this was a problem or not. I have used both Mono and rubber cement very successfully.

I used doublestick tape, the regular weight not the super tacky stuff. It worked great but I haven't stamped with it yet. I can say i cannot see the mended area the bond is that tight. ( I tried to reposition an image and tore some of the foam off the block leaving some of the foam still attached) does that make sense? HTH
Rubber cement...works wonders. You have to lightly coat the foam and the rubber, let them get air for a minute or two, and then stick them together. It's VERY tacky, and will not come undone. HTH

I have used the rubber cement method and you have to coat both sides you are adhering (sp?). Also there is a neat technique with using rubber cement. If I find the instructions again, I'll post! So that way you can justify a rubber cement purchase!
