Question Retiring soon

I will soon be retiring and traveling to different places for a month or 2 at a time. Since I can't bring the whole craft room, what should I bring? I like to make cards and mini albums.

Leslie - thanks so much. That thread was VERY helpful. My husband is afraid we will need a UHaul!

I'm not in this position nor have I read the other thread, but I'm thinking that one thing I would do if this were in my near future is pay close attention to what I'm using in the mean while. Maybe use a dot system by placing a small sticker on items as you put them away so that you can track things that you're using frequently.
Another thought would be to focus on one project or type of project for each 2 month span and pick the colors/papers/tools that you'd need for that "season"
Have fun and I bet it would be helpful to others if you popped back in here a few months into your process to let people know what worked best for you!

I just spent the weekend at a stamping retreat and had the same issue. I brought a couple of kits and wasn't thrilled. One was done in a few minutes and I didn't enjoy working on the other one much. The rest of the women at the retreat brought LOTS of stuff.

A big consideration is how you're traveling and how much room you have. If you're flying you can't take much. If you have a large RV you can bring a lot. This weekend people brought:
Revolving ink pad holders with all their inks
Hanging file folder boxes full of cardstock and dsp
Paper trimmers
Big shot, dies and embossing folders
Stamps and blocks
Markers
Kits with adhesive, bone folders, scissors and other tools
