Question Regarding Stampa Rosa 'Perfect Positioner'

Does anyone have one of these? I have one that was in a box of stamping things that I inherited and I was told there was a part missing. I don't know what that part is (I suspect it might be something to hold my paper in position. I tried Googling Stampa Rosa, but the website brings up a different company. I Stampa Rosa out of business? If anyone has answers for me, please PM me so I can figure this out. TIA

I found a tutorial. Basically there is an L-shaped piece and a flat acrylic plate. You first set the two pieces together; align your stamp to the "L" and stamp (temporarily) onto the acrylic plate. You then line up that image over your card just where you will want to stamp. Next, realign the L-shaped piece to the plate; remove the acrylic plate; align the stamp to the "L" again and stamp onto the card. It is supposed to be perfect like its name says.

Thanks Garnet...you've come through for me in the past and you've done it again...you're amazing! The positioner in the tutorial was similar to mine. I still think there is a piece missing, but it looks as though whatever it is, it's not essential.

Mine is similar to that style but T shaped with a ruler. Anyway if your missing the flat piece you can substitute it with just acetate but you need a keen eye for lining it up. Or get an old photo frame piece of arcylic. I have about three that I use and they work great. I figured I could find something real cheap at the Salvation Army store and I did.
Now if this positioner slides around for you just put some rubber scrap on the bottom and the problem is solved. I did that but used store bought tabs.

A Stamp-A-Ma-Jig does the same thing. You can find them at Michael's and Jo-Ann's. Use a coupon.
