question about limited edition

I know sometimes that sets from the seasonal mini catalogs end up in the next year's Idea book & Catalog. I'm not sure about the timing of last summer's mini catalog - is it possible some of those could be in the 2005-2006 catalog (i.e. Petal Prints), or would that have counted toward last year's since the time period for the mini catalog was June 1-Aug. 31 (past the time the new catalog comes out in July)?

You are correct. The sets in the summer mini's generally go in the following year's catalog (or at least some of them). We have been hearing rumors that Petal Prints will make it to the catalog - chances are good since it has a matching wheel.

there's still a chance that things from the summer mini could make it into the '05-'06 catty. b-4 I became a demo I heard that once upon a time SU! used to put things from the summer mini in the catalog with which they overlapped, but they stopped doing this because demos pointed out to them that it doesn't do much good to have things duplicated like that. you know, why buy summer minis if you'll just see all the same stuff in the new catty in a few weeks? soooo, they have started putting summer mini stuff in the next cattalog to avoid the over lap.

I got petal prints hoping it would be in the new catty, but didn't get the wheel :( I am hoping most of the SAB sets make it too, well all except the limited edition one

Yeah, the SAB sets are amazing this year! I'm constantly thinking about my order so I can get them!
