Default PTI for dummies?

OK, so I received my first PTI order yesterday and the packaging is super cute!

I have never ordered from them before and wanted to make sure I was putting them together correctly (because the instructions didn't tell me much unless I missed something). Maybe you guys can help me out?

1. There is a master sticker that has all the stamps on it. I'm assuming that gets stuck onto the CD case itself to show where to put the stamps back when your are done using them?

2. There is a long vertical outline that looks like it should go on the spine as part of this same master sticker. Am I supposed to cut this part off of the master sticker and use it on the spine?

3. If I guessed at #2 correctly, what do I do with the little label that was rolled up inside the paper sheet inside the stamp set? Do people put that on the front of the CD case or is that the label that is supposed to go on the spine of the CD case?

4. I'm hoping that all the stamps can fit on one of the sides of the CD case. If that is not the case should I save a piece of the plastic the stamps are originally stuck to and put that in between or should I just order an extra CD case and have then in two cases? Do you just cut the master sticker apart then? What do you guys recommend?

TIA for all of your help!

1. Yes. But I find that sometimes the images on the sticker are too close together for the stamps and need to just put things where they fit. It is nice having the reference to what's in the case, though.

2. Yes. Cut it close so you don't have overhang...those sides are thin, LOL!

3. Not sure about the label rolled up inside the paper sheet. Maybe you just got an extra.

4. The $15 sets can fit on one side, but the $24 sets take both sides. The sticking doesn't bother me, but if you want, you can cut one of the backing sheets and place it inbetween. That annoyed me more than the sticking in the first place, so I don't bother.

Enjoy! Those things are mighty addictive!

The label rolled up inside is their old labeling system. Just ignore that. The new stamps just come with the sticker and spine label.

There is usually a scroll that tells you what to do. You have to cut the spine of the sticker off and then use the rest of the sticker on the front/back of the case.

Here is the link to Nichole's blog post with a tutorial on using the label system:

Hope that helps! Enjoy your new stamps!

First - Thanks for all the adivce (and now I found her blog too)

Second, glad to know I wasn't completely off base... Just wanted to be sure before I started peeeling and sticking things down.

Before you peel the master sticker and place it on the CD, you might want to photocopy it or scan it in order to make creating an inventory of your PTI stamps easier.
