Default Provo crafts silent setter, anyone???

I just got my new Creating Keepsakes Top ten magazine and I saw the Zision silent setter listed as a must have in the ten products you're going to love. Does anyone have this yet? I had the xyron spring setter and hated it. (It hurt my fingers so bad and still made and awful racket) Of course I have the SU! tool kit, but I would like something a little quieter. So if anyone has tried this yet, could you let me know your honest opinion. Thanks,

I bought the Provo Craft Silent Setter for myself ! It works great. You do need some upper body strength but I have a DH who works midnights and I can't seem to find time to POUND when he is up!!

I would highly recommend it. I can't wait until the February survey on the Stampin' Up Website because I am going to request SU start carrying this tool. What a great gadget!!

I have it also. I have only used it with SU! eyelets and the eyelets it came with (all of those being aluminum, so they are softer than the brass ones and therefore set easier). I like it!! It is simple to use. It truly is silent. You definitely need either to stand up and press down on it, or upper body strength (hmmmm . . . what's upper body strength??). But I like it a lot!!

I have it and I love, love, love it. 5 of my friends have tried mine and immediately ordered it. The more I use it the easier it is to apply the pressure it needs. I highly recommend it. I also plan on suggesting to SU that we carry it. The price is right $16.99 and nice and compact too. If SU had carried it, I would have already sold 5.

i LOVE it! it is actually silent, not like the clickit one which still makes some noise.

Default silent setter

If you use different eyelets made from different vendors be careful. SU eyelets work well with them. I've tried them on some other eyelets made from different vendors and it didn't work as well. I suggest using them with eyelets made from aluminum.

Okay, I'm going to give it another try. I just tried it this week and still felt like I needed to give my eyelets a bash with the hammer. Maybe I need more elbow grease!
