Question Prism Papers?

Have any of you ladies heard of Prism papers? When I got home tonight there was a package for me from them. I opened it up and there were 5 different pieces of card-stock. There wasn't a letter with it so I have no idea why it was sent to me. I will say that the card-stock is very pretty. Has anyone else received some papers from them? If so did you know why you got them?

I actually called them last year because I couldn't find there papers in my area.
They sent me a nice size sample pack, just to see their papers. Nice company and the papers are wonderful. No one around here sells them :(

I got an envelope from them today too. It had 4 or 5 sheets of paper in it and a little note. I had gone to their website and requested a free sample a couple of months back so maybe that's why you got it!

Thank you Lorie and Teresa for answering my question. Thing is I have never heard of them and up until a few minutes ago have never been to thier site. Strange that they would send me the papers and not send a note. Oh well, perhaps they are sending papers to people at random.

Someone must have signed you up, Mary - you had to fill out a survey to get them. Over 10,000 requests made - perhaps some people went in to 'sign up' a friend too.

Love Prism. I get them from Memory Villa. The samples were of the regular Prismatics cardstock (a 'watercolor paper texture' that is subtle enough to be stamped on with many stamps) and the metallic. They also have a super textured Italian line (Exclusives) that includes one of my fave PRism colors - a super bright red (unfortunately I can never remember the name because the names of the colors are in Italian...) - and 'Mirri' which is a mirror-finish...among other things. Neat stuff.

Hi folks!

I have just started using Prism cardstock and I LOVE IT. One side is textured, one side is smooth and it stamps like a dream. I am going to be able to share an online retailer that carries it soon. I know that there are very few stores in Western Canada that carry it, which is why I contacted the company directly and learned a little about them.

I really enjoy using Palette Hybrid inks by Stewart Superior as well as the Chalk and Pigment lines from Clearsnap. Sadly, as much as I love th SU! color line, I found that there are not enough matches with my inks.

The paper was acutally designed for stampers (thus a textured and smooth stampable side) but seems to have been marketed to scrapbookers first.

Dirty Dozen Alumni Lisa Johnson just joined their Design Team, so I suspect you will begin to see more of their product.

I am happy to answer any other questions you might have!
