Question SU!'s Swallowtail BG Stamp

Does any SU! demo know if this stamp is available as a digital image?

I like the stamp but I've always found background stamps to be very cumbersome to use. I'd rather purchase this as a digital stamp image then print out on cardstock and hand color rather than putz around with the stamp itself.

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks,
Kelli

I did a quick search of "Swallowtail" on the MDS page (Digital Downloads - My Digital Studio) and couldn't find any results, but new content is regularly released so you can watch to see if it's released sometime soon.

Personally, I love the stamp and haven't even gotten it yet (it arrives Wednesday). I've seen some amazing things with it that you wouldn't be able to do with a digital image. Check some ideas out here: Pinterest / Search results for stampin up swallowtail

Oh! It would make a great digi stamp wouldn't it? Makalah is right, we never know what might show up as an MDS download! SU demos have a place to make suggestions...I'll go do that:-)

I was thinking that I would print 4 to a sheet like a standard A2 card and then color it in and use it in similar ways that I've seen around the stamp-osphere

That, to me would be easier to handle than a clunky block. I do appreciate that it is available in both wood and clear mount, but I'd prefer to play around with a digital image.

Yeah I'm big into digital stamps too. I use photoshop DAILY and my trusty Epson Workforce wideformat printer. I like coloring with copics with digital stamp printouts. I seem not to get as good result with coloring copics when stamped with memento ink.

Don't know if you're aware, Swallowtail recently became available in digital.
