Default Question about Hobby Lobby Coupon

The HL coupon says not good on Cricut products. Now that does not include the Cuttlebug right? Even though its a Provocraft product?

My Cuttlebug is not working up to par and I may need to purchase a new one.

I would think it would be ok...CB is a PC product but it does not say Cricut anywhere on it.

The coupon should work, but be prepared if you have to argue. Sometimes the clerks assume stuff. You may have to show them the Cuttlebug is not Cricut related.

Michaels was especially bad about this when the Cuttlebug first came out. Sometimes people had to talk to the manager to get the clerks to honor the coupon.

Thanks for the pep talk! And yes I will need to mentally prepare. I had a teenage checker argue with me that the fall leave cookie cutters were floral not Fall. She wasnt going to take the 40% off all "Fall" items.

I don't know what the Cuttlebug packaging states but their newest embossing folders now have Cricut Cuttlebug. This is on the label of the folder above the name of the folder. Just read the Hobby Lobby coupon, 'Offer not valid on....Cricut products..' Don't know if this means it excludes the Cuttlebug or plates or embossing folders. Hope not for your sake.

JoAnn coupons now state 'Offer excludes.... all paper crafting machines.....' I just noticed the Michael's coupon printed on a sales receipt states, 'excludes.....all Silhouette and Cricut products'. I have actually used my JoAnn coupon to purchase CB folders and plates but maybe there has been a VERY recent change.

My Joanne's has stopped talking coupons on all machines, dies and embossing folders. The coupon says it can't be used on any die cutting machines and accessories, and that includes all machines including non electronic. They say it is set up in the registers from corporate and they get in trouble if they override it. I recently used my Hobby Lobby coupon on an embossing folder and they excepted it. Haven't tried at Michaels yet, so not sure about them.

Call the store where you'd like to use that coupon. My local H.B. will accept coupons on magazines but the two other H.B. (both are an hour's drive away from my local store) won't. Go figure!
