Need Help

I'm new to stamping and need a little help. What is two step stamping? I want to use Field Flowers and I see that term alot.

You would first stamp one image, and then stamp another image over top of what you just stamped - usually in a different shade of the same colour to give the image some dimension like shading or highlighting. I find I have to use a stamp positioner to get the images to line up properly.

For two-step stamping, you need a stamp set that has both base and overlay (or outline) images (with Field Flowers, that's the two different flower heads). You simply stamp the base image, then stamp the overlay over it, typically in a darker coordinating ink color (i.e., base in Regal Rose, overlay in Rose Red). Hopefully that's helpful ...
