Looking for some stamping buddies in Swaziland or South Africa

Hey All:

We're moving to Swaziland this summer and I was wondering if we have any SCS /stamping friends either there or in South Africa???

Hope to meet you if so! :D

With Best Regards:

I am not, but I wanted to wish you a safe journey and all the best in your new life! sounds very exciting.

My nephew and his wife are in South Africa working on a mission with children.

I know there are paper crafters in SA. I used to help a woman there with purchasing Cricut items here and shipping them to her. I'm sure you can find blogs or websites based in SA that will help you. What brings you to Swaziland? I see you are in Tajikistan now. Do yo or your husband work for the government? My cousin is married to a marine doing diplomatic service right now. They are in Italy now and off to Asia or Eastern Europe at the end of the year. What an adventure! Enjoy your time there.

good luck with your move Deb. There is a forum here called Get it Together where stampers and scrappers try to meet up why don't you also post there? Hope you find someone, or a group!

I know from modding in the gallery that there are definitely some SCS-ers in SA. Whether they browse the forums or not, I don't know, so they may not see your post! But I gather from South African friends here that crafts are quite strong there, so I'm sure you'll have no trouble meeting up with like-minded people once you move.
Good luck with the move!

HI there Melissa:

Thanks for the input...I will check some blog sites out. My husband is a diplomat for the State Department working for embassies. I worked at this last post as well... this is our "adventure before retirement!" and has been going well.

Thanks for your response!

Thanks so much! I will keep my eyes open! I began a papercraft class that I held monthly for the ladies here, and will probably do the same when I get to Swaziland. If they're not crafters yet, they will be...LOL! :D
