How many here actually own the GUMBALL GRAPHICS SANTA STAMP!!

Like so many others I am in love with this stamp. Considering he is no longer available, I would love to know just how many lucky stampers own him!!

Hugs

I have him. And I got him free!

jailbirdstamper 10-06-2006 09:40 PM

I want him too!

MnM 10-06-2006 09:51 PM

I have him too. He was a gift from my bestest friend.

Charlee 10-08-2006 06:55 PM

What does he look like? I'm not sure if I own him or not. I have quite a few Santa faces.

Tracy-Stamper 10-08-2006 07:16 PM

Someone should post a thumbnail of a picture of him so we can see him :)

Gumball Graphics Santa Stamp

If anyone is willing to part with their stamp, I would love to purchase it. :-D

bound4london 09-24-2012 06:57 PM

I found a card with the image. It is gorgeous.
Thimbles, Bobbins, Paper and Ink: Christmas Magic

Sandyttfn 09-24-2012 09:21 PM

Yep, that's the card that started my search. I just at the search and destroy phase, I haven't gotten obsessive about it, yet. I would like to find one though.

The others out there are close, but not quite right. IE, the Stamp Francisco stamp's hair and beard are weird. The Rubber Stampede stamp is closer, but I think the overall image is smaller.

Flourishes made a beautiful set, as seen on this gorgeous card by Linda Duke (attached), but it's showing as "out of stock". I've sent an email inquiring as to whether they will be getting it in stock again...

Sandyttfn 09-25-2012 06:31 AM

Yes he is cool, and he's on my seriously consider list, if I can't find the Gumball Santa. Thanks for your help!

winnieu 09-25-2012 07:44 AM

I don't have him, but have another Santa that is also line drawn. It is a close up of his face. Not as detailed as this one though. I have to look it up when I get home.

Biko8666 09-25-2012 08:34 AM

Is that the one that sold at Michael's?

winnieu 09-25-2012 10:52 AM

yes, I got mine at Michaels.

There is also this one that is very similar by Rubber Stampede (Delta Products) that I actually prefer over the Gumball Graphics version: "Santa Collage" Rubber Stamp by Rubber Stampede | eBay

I noticed that Tim Holtz has a Santa Stamp that would fit the bill.

I love the Santa images. What is it about them? I love the classic look. I have the Gumball, Rubber Stampede, Flourishes (I Believe), and this one by Victorine Originals:

Dear Old Santa

ETA: looks like the link won't go to the image, so I uploaded the image.

I got this stamp on eBay last year so (obviously haha) I like it too!

shellebelle 10-15-2012 07:16 PM

I was at Hobby Lobby over the weekend and noticed that stamp there. Maybe if you go there your store has it.

this is the actual Gumball Graphic stamp image. I bought mine from the artist directly several years ago, shortly before he stopped selling them. Then I sold it to a gal here. When she posted her first card with it, I was torn between anguish that I'd let it go and patting myself on the back for letting a real artist use it, lol! I do miss it, I have to be honest...

gregzgurl 10-16-2012 03:40 AM

I never did get a reply from Flourishes, but I went on the website this morning, and the Santa, I Believe stamp set is back in stock...

boobookittysgranny 10-16-2012 11:17 AM

This is the Santa that I have:

Wow - that's a close match! I can see a few differences, but it makes a great alternative to the discontinued option.

sillyfilly 11-08-2012 09:39 AM

This stamp is still for sale in the stores.

You can get this at Hobby Lobby. I bought one at my local HL a couple of months ago for a friend in Canada and shipped it. I was there last week and they had it in stock.

xayide2 11-08-2012 11:42 AM

I found the Gumball Graphics Santa stamp on ebay not long after I saw this post. It was kinda mis-labeled. So I got a good deal. Haven't stamped with it yet.

Sandyttfn 11-08-2012 07:26 PM

Oh so jealous. What was he labled as?

I am still hoping I'll find one someday. Until then I've picked up the Flourishes stamp (beautiful stamp, but horizontal instead of vertical) and a smaller one I found carried by Viva Las Vegas Stamps (vertical image, but smaller).

Here's the link to the original auction Santa Claus Face Wood Mounted Rubber Stamp 1175 | eBay

Now I'm using it in my Christmas cards this year.

xayide2 - You lucky person you! Some day I'll be so lucky and find one. Until then, I'll keep looking.

Gypsy Rose Stamper - Yes he is a nice stamp. Since I have a nice Flourishes and Rubber Stampede stamp, I'm going to keep searching for the Gumball Stamp. Thanks for sharing this great stamp. I bet there's several people out there that would love to grab him.

Thanks,
Sandy

I'm now an owner of the Gumball Santa stamp--I received it in the mail today. I found it on e-bay a couple of days ago. I can't believe it--it was Buy It Now for $7.99. Looks like it was never even used---well it is used now.

Sandyttfn 11-19-2012 02:39 PM

What search criteria did you use on Ebay? I've been looking daily, with no success.

Thanks,
Sandy

jmarnc 11-19-2012 02:46 PM
