Card ideas: Stuck on You notes from Hallmark
Anyone ever seen these or use these for cards?? I was walking around the
Hallmark store looking for a "Our First Christmas" ornament for my fiancee
and I and happened to see one of these books. They are called, "Stuck On
You". It says on the front of one, "100 warm, witty, wonderful ways to say,
'You're special." I was flipping through it and saw some really cute notes
in there that would work great for cards..lol Each sheet is 4 x 5 and would
work great on the front of a card, layered onto some card stock.
Some examples of the notes in there are:
Everytime I think of you, I smile (with smiley faces all over the page)
You're funny and silly and full of nice surprises. I like that about you
(with a beagle on the note with a ballons holding up the ears)
In the ups and downs of life, You're definiely an up! ( a cat standing on
one hand upside down with ballons on it's tail holding it up)
Every time I think of you, something inside goes, "BOINNG" (a man hitting
one of those carnival strength testers, with a heart at the top).
I am not good at explaining pictures but you get the point. I picked this
one up and knew I had to have it. It is designed for you to pull out the
note with sticky tape on the back (think post it note) and stick it
somewhere for your special someone, kids, etc. I continued to look and
found another one that was called, 'Stuck on you..love notes".. this one is
cute too, all kinds of love notes for you to give to someone special. These
notes lend themselves to cards so much, do a background, mat the note onto
another sheet of card stock and boom, instant card! Love to hear if anyone
else has found these or used them for cards!
BTW the books were $9.95 for the first book (hard cover book) and $7.95 for
the Love notes one, both are well worth it in my opinion, the pictures are
very cute, the sayings wonderful and a quick way to tell someone they are
loved..lol. I looked on Hallmark dot com but could not find them there.
