Amazing!!!

It's amazing how after years of not crafting and hardly using my silhouette, using it one time makes me happier than a penguin with a fish... Lol! I knew this is what I needed in my life to brighten things up after my divorce!! I should make a tshirt that says "my husband told me I had to choose between scrapbooking or him... thank goodness my attorney fees weren't as expensive as my hobby!!" Lol!!!!

Hoot Hoot Hoot...I have been a divorced person years ago with small children. It is amazing what we strong women can get through. I love stamping..hopfully my hubby never even hints at asking me not to stamp...I love my Silhouette Cameo too! I mass produce cards to I am happy to have 4 mats that can but lots at one time.
blessings.

Lol well he really wasn't stupid enough to tell me to choose! I just thought it sounded funny!! Actually he was amazingly supportive of my hobby, like really supportive. It was great.

Just wondering what you're doing mass producing cards? Are you making any money at it? LOL!!

I love my Cameo also, but have only used one mat at a time! ;)

My hubby keeps a basket on his desk when he is in town and we sell $75.00 to 125.00 per week more at holiday times. This is the first year i have taken off of supplying 1250 toeach of two swim teams for fund raisers. The swim teams alone generated $5000.00 in oct and nov in money to me. I sold to themfor 1.50 or 2.00 per card they sold for 4.00 to 5.00 each. I did that for 4 years and took this year off. I still send boxes to the troops and i support my church bookstore and another church. There is always somewhere for cards to go. The churches supply me with a document for taxes. I get so much given to me and i can buy wholesale so my money goes a long way.
Blessings

I have a regular silhouette and have yet to use it. Hopefully this winter I'll get some time to finally figure it out and put it to use.

I love my Craft Robo (same as a silhouette) and have been using it quite a bit lately. I was in a crafting slump (well, general life slump really) and it got me excited about crafting again. They really are such versatile machines. I'm just saving every spare penny I have right now so I can get a Zing in the spring.

Isn't it awesome how doing something you love will perk you up again!!

Biko8666 12-06-2012 06:17 AM

Thanks Cyndi. I will try. I know once I get the hang of it I'll be sorry I didn't do it sooner. I see you are in Louisville as well

Cyndi_Ray 12-06-2012 09:48 AM

I didn't even notice you were in Louisville!! That's awesome!! We should go craft shopping together or something!!

That sounds good. I went to Michaels in Clarksville, IN on my lunch hour and was so disappointed. Came back with nothing. If they didn't have it, they were out of it or the item was broke. However. . .I got an email from Archivers that this weekend they are having a 40% sale on all Martha Stewart and EK Success punches. Not that I really need anything. . .Once I get to learn my Silhouette I probably won't need punches.

Cyndi_Ray 12-06-2012 11:10 AM

I know, I was looking at that email too, it was tempting until I realized I didn't need punches!!

A 'spring Zing' - you're a poet :) Good for you - that will be a wonderful gift to give yourself - YAY!

Hi there RiverIsis. How close to Louisville are you? I have not seen many on here from KY. I know we have stampers here.

I was looking at your profile and wondered if your location meant you were in KY, somewhere in a funKY town.
