I have been waiting longer then normal for pages to upload to view.
I have a fast internet connection and didn't have trouble before. Just wondered if anyone else was having trouble
Won't stop me from being on the site
I've been having problems for about a week now. The forums usually aren't too bad, but the galleries are atrocious. I just don't even try to look at them anymore. I have a DSL connection, and I'm not having problems with any other sites. It's not keeping me off either though.
yeah, this is our top priority right now and the closest thing I have to a New Year's resolution. we've got an additional server sitting idle just waiting for a resolution to some technical issues and then we'll see some big improvements. I'm hoping to have some solutions in place by mid-January.
Oh, yeah! I thought it was just me - didn't stop me though, just slowed me down a little! I'll have to quit crabbin' at my guys here to speed things up...now I'll have to find something else to complain about :lol:
I'm glad it's not just me, too. Daven - I'm not whining at all. You do a wonderful job with this site, and I'm happy to have it no matter what speed it's running at. I wouldn't have said anything at all if the topic hadn't been posted. I usually just assume it's me and not the website. Thanks for all the time you spend making this a great place for all 20K+ of us. Happy New Year!
I TOTALLY understand with upgrades and servicing..I was just concerned it was me or my computer. But if I know it is the site itself...I am SOOOOOOOOOO willing to be patient and understanding. This is the GREATEST site and am thankful for all the hard work Daven does..
I am still going to upload my new photos. My husband is home and willing to take the photos..so I am taking advantage of him.
No matter how slow it is I still love it. I figured that everyone is surfing over the holidays so it has been slow. I just chaulk it up to being a great site. If you live on the West coast it "loads fast" about 10PM. That is when I try to get back on it. LOL

Shhhh Amy, don't bring that up to Daven's attention, he might lock the thread. Okay, then maybe the site will move quicker, but still we need our chat room. :shock:
Have to admit it -- I too have been spending more time hanging around the forums since they seem to move faster than the galleries. But I'm having so much fun...my addiction just might transfer over from stamping to forum-surfing.

Man, do I ever own my folks an apology. :oops: I thought it was slow because of their computer, then I thought well maybe because everyone is off for the holidays and have more time to surf. I've been addicted to the forums ,mainly cause it frustrated me to look at the samples in the gallery and not be able to stamp. (I couldn't take my things with me- didn't have enough room). What's going to happen when Daven really gets things going for us :shock: Thanks for all your hard work Daven :!: :!:
I'm new to this site and all I could think was "eeww, I hope it isn't slow like this all the time". Glad to hear that's not the case and that its being improved.
