Poem for Mothers, please help

Hello, a friend is looking for a poem for a baby shower, and I recall a poem I seen a long time ago in Ann Landers column. I have ran across it over the years, but for the life of me, I cannot find it now. I am hoping maybe someone else might be able to direct me to it.
It is something about a Mom leaving dirty dishes in the sink and playing with the kids and not mopping the floor, but taking them to the park instead.
Anyway the message is the house will always be there, but the kids will be all grown up one day.
Is this ringing any bells with anyone?

Thanks Tortuga, but no that is not it. I don't remember it being that old-fashioned sounding. But thank you anyway.

Does anyone else remember this poem before I dirve myself crazy? I have poured over the internet with no luck.

I Googled housework can wait and came up with lots of sites with poems. I don't know how to paste them, but there is one called netmums.com that had a lot. A couple of them sound like what you're looking for. Hope that helps.
