Default Photo Cards?

Anybody sending out holiday cards with their family photos? I didn't find a lot of examples in the galleries... I want to do a 6x6 scrapbook-type card (not one that opens) and of course I have no idea WHAT picture I'm going to use yet so I don't know the size!!

I have a photo card in my gallery -- just really simple. It was made using the frames punch outs, but I dont recall if SU sells them anymore. Here is the link:

The picture slides in where the darker blue is on the center. Made for the little wallet size pictures . . .

I use the wrought iron punch to punch the top 2 corners of the 5" x 3 3/4" card, then decorate the bottom part, then adhere onto a A2 card. This will hold a 1/4 4R digital photo. Although the photo is a bit smaller, but that will have to do.

The corner punches that I used on this card also work GREAT for photos. SU has a couple different versions.

HINT: Search the gallery for "6x6 photo" but limit the search to title and description. You might find a few that suit your style.

Hii there

I'm making picture Christmas Cards this year. I'm actually using ivory as the main card, layering red, then a printed piece (I'm using preprinted paper with a holly design but you could stamp your own), then another piece of red and then the picture will go on top of that. It will then have a ribbon that runs across the bottom that has a "tag" that will say Merry Christmas and the ribbon is tied in a bow. I'm sure thats confusing and when I get one done I'll post it I did have one completed buy my kids got ahold of it!

I made one 2 years ago.
I don't love it now but it's o.k.

I used an exacto knife to cut aroudn the tree. I have to admit, it was pretty labor intensive but it got the effect I wanted.

Last year I inserted a picture using a photo corner punch on the inside of the card.

Good luck with yours!
