Hello all - I have been a member of SCS for a couple of years and have never posted anything. I have been off line for awhile. Please explain to me what pay it forward is. Thanks!

If you see something posted that you could use, you take it from the donor (if it is still available) with the thought that you will pay it forward by donating an item or items that you no longer need. Donor pays shipping.

People just offer things they'd like to share or things they won't use. Then whoever wants the items sends that person a private message with their address and request. If the item is still available, the person who offered the PIF will mail that item/items to the one who wants them.

I have five envies of PIF images if anyone is interested. They include a dog, cute bees, lighthouse/beach or boat scene, birds and cats. Just send me a PM if you'd like one. I have 5 sets.
Thanks.
Oops, forgot to mention. The images available are stamped on Georgia Pacific white cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink, making them easy to color with copics, markers and coloring pencils.
There are four left if anyone is interested. Just send me a private message with your address if you'd like one.
I am feeling sheepish asking this... but here I go. I would like to make a golfing birthday card for a man turning 75. he golfs 2-3 times a week. He is a gentlemen and quite proper. I was wondering if any of you would be willing to stamp me an appropriate image? He loves receiving cards. Thanks
You shouldn't feel sheepish. I don't see anything wrong with that. I don't think I have any golfing stamps. I do know there are some free golfing digital stamps online. Do you know how you use digis?
Just an update: I have two envies left of stamped images if anyone is interested. They are stamped on Georgia Pacific paper with Momento Tuxedo Black ink, so they should be good for copics, markers or pencils.
Checked the internet and the digi stamp images I was thinking about have expired, but I found lots of great images by typing "free golf bag coloring page" into a search on Bing, so I'm sure "golf" would have a lot also. free golf bag coloring page - Bing Images
If you've not used digital images before, I can probably help you learn how. It's easy; you just have to know the steps. Also, the digital stamping section has lots of info! That's how I learned.
I have a few of the image below. But, I am not sure who it is by or from whom I got it from. (Sometimes that's a problem with worldwide image swaps.) If you are interested, send me a PM and I'll send you a couple.
Huggles,
Christi

I always try to stamp out an extra set, in case I get an extra request, so I have one I can send you. I think the email I recieved for subscribing to this thread has your info, so I'll get one sent out to you ASAP.
Aloha Christi - aka Craf-T-Bear!! Just have to thank you not only for the wonderful images but also the detailed etiology of each stamp!! Your generosity and enthusiasm are wonderful and contagious for sure!!

Hi! It's been a while since I've posted anything. I have 4 vellum quote sets to offer,
they are Childhood, 2 inspirational, and one small set of vacation/summer.
I would love to send these to 1 person. Please PM me your address.
Got the images in the mail yesterday! Thank you so much--they are adorable.
With all that has happened in my life since last fall, I think I have decided to just cross off the year 2012 and just hope and pray that things settle down to give me a somewhat normal 2013.
Again, I can't tell you how much it has been appreciated to find such a treat in my mailbox.

You are so welcome! I am so glad you liked them! Hoping I get to feeling better soon, so I can stamp out more. May be a bit though, as I'm having sinus trouble and my syncope problem is acting up. I can relate, as chronic illness keeps me down a lot at times, so it is always so wonderful to get something happy in the mail! Crafting has been my therapy; as we all need something to look forward to doing. I'm so sorry this year has been so rough for you! Hope it gets better soon! (((HUGS!)))
Mauiueno, your were the first to respond to my post, so I'll be sending you
the package of vellum quotes to you.
Hope you all are doing well. I have scheduled my knee replacement surgery for
Aug 20th. I am trying hard not to be anxious about this. I am overhelmed already
just with trying to do day to day activities like cooking, cleaning and laundry.
I am trying to be hopeful that I will fully recover from the surgery and have little or no
pain. Any prayers you can offer would truly be appreciated!
Sending prayers, hugs and aloha as you go through your surgery. I am so excited for you and looking forward to hearing how well it all goes. I've known of so many who have been so happy with the results!!

Maryellen,
My friend JUST had a 1/2 knee replacement last Thursday. She is doing well. It hurts as its healing, and the therapy isn't fun, but she is looking forward to better, more movable, functionable days ahead.
Good luck and prayers with you.
