I have to thank everyone for their PIFs! They are so helping me get cards done for the animal charity event. Right now, I'm using some red cards, so I'm putting them together quick, so I'm keeping it simple. When I get to making other colors, I will have to use some of the images I recieved. I got five cards done today, which is good for me!

Using images from tags, diecuts, etc, and using the premade sentiments, gold flowers have really helped a lot!!! Can't wait to color in the images that were sent also! Thank you to all of you!

Thank you Beverly! Just wanted to show how I've used the awesome PIFs I've gotten so far. Haven't had a chance to use some of everything yet, but getting close.
Arlene, it came from a little booklet of Birds & Botanicals Images and Journal Notes made by Crafty Secrets. It says it is in the Heartwarming Vintage Collection. I cut the journaling off the bottom, and just used the images. Going to save some of the journaling spots for when I scrapbook. I bought it at our local Ben Franklins before they went out of business. I used to love shopping there. I looked to see if there were any more kewpie images, so I could send one to you, but it didn't; mostly birds and flowers.
Thanks for the sweet compliments. Put a smile on my face!

Sure would love to see more project pictures on this thread. We have all given away a boatload of "stuff" over the past few months. I'm thinking we all need to take a MOJO pill and get creative. I know I am struggling right now just trying to get Valentine creations together. NOTHING looks good to me, no matter what I do to it.

[Just trying to stir up some pictures from you all.]
Hugs to EVERYONE!

Default Hearts from Louise Ldumont999

All hearts used were sent to me by Louise [Ldumont999] Thank you so much, Louise.

Total inspiration for the first set of cards came from this one in the Gallery:

Have I Told You Lately...CAS156 by stampingout - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

The "YOU" on the inside was put together from different alphabet sets. Each card has a different word on the front that makes sense when you pair it with the "YOU" on the inside. At least, I hope so.

Second set of cards I used pages from an old "gift" book I bought for $1 at the Goodwill last year.

Third set, I'm just showing because I made them same time as the others. I feel like they need something more, but haven't liked anything I put with them. I was trying for the "school notebook" look for teens.

Thanks for looking. Beverly

Kathy (muscrat) sent me a wonderful variety of embossing folders that she was no longer using. I wasn't feeling well this morning so I took a sick day and by noon I was feeling better and gloriously spent the afternoon making cards.

Actually that "birthday" embossing folder is a "baby shower" embossing folder. LOL I need more birthday cards than I need baby shower cards so I covered the baby bottle & booties with the small embossed package.

I want to thank you all again for the goodies you've sent. They have helped me so much with making cards for a local animal rescue charity event. I had about ten cards (and a gift bag) that a friend had made, and I made about forty, and then I also made pencil holders out of four soup cans. If everything sells as marked, then that would raise fifty three dollars for the charity. Your goodies helped a lot. I was able to use the pretty gold floral stickers, girl in raincoat image that was included in a whole envie of awesome images, pretty floral paper from Beverly that she used to wrap confetti in, some gorgeous DP (snowflake paper behind rose on card-can't tell it's snowflakes, looks like detailed paper), an awesome sentiment that came in an envy of sentiments, and the cute little green flowers, and that's just what was used on the ones pictured. Thanks so much!

It's such a neat feeling to go to the mailbox and find a suprise inside! Fun times! Soon as I get caught up on some neglected housework and stuff around here, I'll start working on some computer sentiments and some Hello Kitty for TaMyra. I just love this thread! I love seeing what everyone makes and chatting it up with all of you!

Turns out I think she is going to price them higher than I had them marked; that would be good. More money to go to the animals.

Heart Valentine Project for church family & family & friends.

Ok...two cards have turned into 44 cards. Would still like to make a few more. Maybe after a nap! LOL.

I'm posting here because I had mentioned it in an earlier post and I used so many of Ldumont999's hearts on these cards.

Thanks again, Louise!

Here's what I worked on today; coloring flowers that I got from eagles777. I loved the green color that they are, but wondered if I could get multiple colors from them. I had the best luck using water-based Crayola and off-brand markers. I also used a bic marker for the dark blue. I had dark blue fingers! (Made me have that song "Gold Finger" from the Bond movie in my head, but it was Blue Finger instead! LOL!) Also, tried using embossing powder on one to shine it up; just made it look a little tie dyed or frosted. I love finding multiple uses for things! 100_4915.jpg

100_4916.jpg

I was also experimenting painting a little glitter glue on them to add glitter to them. I'll have to let you know how that experiment turns out. They had some great tutorials on Youtube on how to make your own glitter mist.
Also worked today on trying to make my own cricut mats. They had a tutorial on youtube about that also; bought the flexible cutting mats from the Dollar Tree and using Aleene's TIO&O glue to make them sticky. The last mats I bought for the cricut were'nt sticky, so figured I'd try making my own. I'll let ya know later how that experiment goes too!
Anyway, enjoying the cute little flowers!

Thank you. Eagles, I'm glad you kept some also. The markers that worked the best were the washable ones, crayola and off-brand. Thank you so much for giving me the flowers!
Beverly, thank you for the compliment. I just happened to remember the other day when we had to paint flowers for my niece for her wedding. She had a turqoise, peach and white flowers. We couldn't find turqoise flowers anywhere. I ended up with that greenish paint on my shoes, but her flowers turned out o.k.. I think my niece thought of it, and I was so suprised how well it worked.
