Arlene, your tag is just stunning. What fun to be able to create a piece made from TWO PIF's! How nice to see those gifts put to use. Your accents with the Stickles and the Liquid Pearls are so pretty.

Here is another tag that I made with the tags and die cut leaves that Louise sent me.

Love your tags Arlene! That's a great idea to make them ahead of time, so they'll be there ready for just the right use!
Ravioligirl, I love your cards! I like the doily and flowers you used, and also liked the gorgeous tatting on one of the other's poster's cards.

Going through cards today that I've felt were just "half" finished. This birthday one needed just a touch and found the perfect flowers from a PIF from "auntangie." She sent me three beautiful treasures from Making Memories and I want to do MORE with them. They are stunning. But, for now, the flowers were just what I needed to put this card in the "finished" box.

Thanks, Angie, for your PIF. This was from October 22!

Thanks for the kind remarks, Ladies! No stamping on that one, but wanted to use that die cut I had in my stash for at least 3 or 4 years. Isn't that awful? Sponged some paper that I had on hand for about the same length of time and glued it all together. LOL. It will make someone happy on their birthday. Thanks again.

I made a number of cards using various products (stamps, raffie, etc). Hope you enjoy seeing what your generosity has done for me.

Oh, Louise, those are so sweet! In case some of you don't know, Louise makes cards for children who have cancer. I'm not sure if it is a particular organization or what, but she uses her talent to bring joy to children going through very tough times. God bless!

Thanks everyone. You are all so sweet. BTW, anyone can make cards for the kids (and teens and even a few adults) with cancer. The Thread is right here on SCS - Caterina posts the names, addys and a little something about each kid. Sometimes she posts a link to their CaringBridge site. Just look for the RAK Random Acts of Kindness thread. I know they can always use more people sending cards to these kids... so if you REALLY want to pay forward the generosity that has been shown you, feel free to check out that thread and put a card or two in the mail.

Default Raggedy Valentine using PIF items

Hello, everyone. This is a valentine I made for my sweet grand-daughter. I can't believe I have it made already. I am always way behind.

I ran across my Raggedy images yesterday and stamped and colored before I had any idea what I would do with them.

The turquoise panel card is from Joan7356 and the red/white twine is from mamaxsix. I didn't even notice that the panel card is the same shape as the Top Note die until I started to layer my card!

Thank you so much, ladies, for gifting me with these items.

That is just TOO cute!!! Just as a side note. I gave my 2 1/2 yr old grand daughter a sweet Raggedy Ann Doll I had as a kid. It was like new because I never played with dolls. She took one look at it and said (in a somewhat horrified voice) "SCAREY CROW -- ewe" LOL I think she meant scarecrow and it was kind of close to halloween. LOL Anyway, it is still not being played with.

Beverly, your card is so cute! Love the raggedy ann and andy (now I will be a hunt for stamps or someone to send me images!!)

Louise, I still have my raggedy Ann doll - she was so well loved! I might have to find one for my granddaughter. My daughter doesn't let the grand kids have the techy toys (yet) - she said they need to develop their imaginations and creativity. She sent me a video of them playing with blocks (building towers and knocking them down) , watercoloring, and playing "kitchen" with their play food, pots & pans - so cute!

hoptownracer1 - thanks for the compliment!

Arlene - My oldest son & dil also don't care for techie toys. Must be the trend. They made about four dozen "blocks" out of cleaned and dried milk cartons. Josie (the almost 3 yr old) LOVES them. She's just not into Raggedy Ann. LOL

Thanks for all the compliments, everyone! My daughter stopped by today and while little grand-daughter was in the other room, we went to my stamping area and I showed her the card. She loved it.

Arlene, the company that makes these stamps is no longer in business. I looked on e-bay and they have the Andy up for bid. It ends in just under two days. Here's the link, if you are serious about wanting to get a set. You can start with him and then go hunting for Ann! LOL.

AZADI EARLES TARA SINGLE RUBBER STAMP DOLL HEART FLOWERS SHAPE | eBay

I have no idea WHY it says "Tara" in the description. Weird.

Default Thank you!

Received a PIF from jkstampin [Joan] yesterday and used the tags from Ldumont999 [Louise] to quickly stamp out a "thank you." Joan, that set is amazing and this doesn't do it justice, but wanted to let you know that it arrived and I am so very grateful for it.
This is what the set looks like:
Autumn Leaves 'Round and Round' Clear Stamp Sheet | Overstock.com

Louise, I still need to use your tags for some other ideas I have. My plans for today were quickly changed, but as my hubby says, "Tomorrow is another day." He didn't sound like Scarlett when he said it though! LOL.

Thank you so much, ladies!

Smile Upgraded PIF project

I have upgraded my tag after seeing the talented "patsmethers" postings yesterday of her two lovely vintage tag cards. Follow link, please. Aren't they beautiful?!

~Country Birthdays~ by patsmethers - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

She is so talented and I can't begin to emulate her in a worthy manner, but sure do appreciate her creations and they help me use up my "stuff."

Once I started to make the card I realized my tag was too small to be visually appealing so I tried to help it a bit by lengthening it with a MS punched border. I will send this to my sister who gifted me with some skin care products for my birthday.

The tags and card are gorgeous! So pretty! I was happy last night as I found my Raggedy Ann and Andy stamp set while looking through some of my unmounted ones. I love that card with them on it! I should give that stamp some love and use it!

Oh, good, glad you found 'em. Funny how those images stirred up memories from long ago.

I have a set that I did in primary colors. Just trying to figure out what to do with them.

Thank you Arlene! It didn't turn out exactly the way I envisioned it when I started. May have to make another one and take my time with it. But I love the stamps; they are so cute!

Adorable, Christina! Makes me anxious for Spring. I'm so ready for it and we haven't even had a bad Winter...yet. Love those fresh Spring colors in your card.
