Wow, what wonderful creations!
Cute cards and I love that holiday bag!
I still haven't done anything creative. But I did clear off a 12" x 18" space on my craft table so maybe I'll get something done in the next day or two.
Very nice things here, ladies!! I love that we can share what we have done! I still have a stamp that I received that I have an idea for, but not time to get to it yet.
I finally had a chance to play with my fun little penguin stamps from jkstampin I used the sketch from today's sketch challenge and cut up a plastic/tinsel ornament for some sparkle. Here's my Happy Brrrrrthday

Gail, that card is tooooo CUTE!
Not sure what the plastic tinsel ornament was, but it sure added a cool (pun intended) ice effect to the card.
I didn't know there was a sketch challenge ... but daily. Ouch. I don't think I could pull that off. I do need to take a closer look at the challenges section. I've already decided to join cards for a cause, but I need something with some direction "use this" "do that" etc.
Oh, almost forgot ... the "Brrrrthday" sentiment is fab!
Sorry if I was confusing....there are challenges for each day, but each one occurs weekly.

ROTFL...ok, I want my stamp back now. LOL.....that is so adorable, Cindy! You have given that stamp a much better home than it had with me. That is just too cool! I think I had that stamp for 15 years and used it once. And then it wasn't used in as wonderful a way that you have used it. I'm glad it went to someone with mojo!!! Love all the colors on your card and you did a great job coloring the porcupine.

Last night as I was falling asleep I was thinking how cool it is to see what is being created with our PIF's. It really is more fun than actually giving them away. I love seeing what someone has created with an item that was hanging around my house ignored for so long. And, think about, we are sending "stuff" all over the place...out of the country even. Too cool. Hope that others can find time to be creative and post more pictures. I'm still hoping to see the PSX Botanical Alphabets being used. [I need new ideas for mine.]
I want to show you a photo of the first card I made using the Bear in Bibs stamps. It is a little simple. I am going to be using it some more to make some cards that will be more embellished. Thank you again for the stamp!
Jeri,
I love it! I was smiling the whole time I looked at your picture. I love how your background paper mimics the red stripes in his bibs. He's all ready for Christmas. Too cool to see our stuff being used, isn't it?

Here are links to a few of the cards that I'll be sending to Rachel's "Granny". The first link shows a card with a pink hat that I received from RavioliGirl on the Pay It Forward thread. It came along with a set of stamps that I also used, but haven't yet photographed. My "style" is clean and simple--only because I can't seem to do fancy and frilly, but one day I will!
You have been a busy gal, Melissa! Love them all. So much fun to see supplies that used to be in our houses, being used by stampers way across the country. Still loving the PIF thread that scrapjanny began! Thanks for sharing.
Ok, there's a story to this picture. FIRST of all, these two items are not the finished product. I just wanted to post this so my PIF gift giver would know that I'm TRYING to work with my gift.
I received this wonderful stamp with five tags on it and once I started looking at it I thought, "Oh, this is great. I'll make Paige a bookmark with her name on it." Remember, it's not finished yet. Then, yesterday I started to read the entire PIF thread from scrapjanny's very first post to the end. It was then that I realized that PAIGE didn't send me the stamp...she sent me orange staples. ldumont sent me the tag stamp! So, I started trying out a new technique that I hadn't done before...double embossing....you can tell I haven't been very successful at it. LOL. Anyway, I used the word, "Grace" in honor of Louise's sweet gift to me. Thank you so much, Louise!
And, you wonder why my daughter is checking out nursing homes for me! [She's just kidding...anyway, I HOPE she's kidding!]
[Still hoping and waiting to see what was done with the Personal Stamp Exchange Alphabet letters that were sent out.]

Has your daughter told you that she's checking out nursing homes? My boys told me they have my "old folks" home picked out. They say it's clear across the other side of the U.S. from where we all live now. Oddly enough, they haven't said anything about moving with me. Hmmm????
BTW ... I don't know what double embossing is, but if it's what you did to get the beautiful color on the leaves, I love it!

Those are WONDERFUL. I'm SO glad this stamp found a good home.
Someone gave me these three little pink flowers as part of an extra treat. I'm so sorry, I can't remember who. But, this card wouldn't be the same without them. I made it tonight for my Mom so that I can put her Christmas gift card in it. I'm hoping she'll like it because that doily is almost an exact duplicate of my Grandmother's pineapple doily pieces that she used to make. If you recognize those little pink flowers, please remind me that you were the one who sent them.

To LBCreations & RavioliGirl -- both of these cards are adorable. I really like that we started this thread. Now that Christmas is over I hope to post a few items in the next week or two. Blessing to you all in the New Year and a special thanks to all who so generously Pay It Forward.
Very pretty, Arlene! Thanks for sharing.
Curious, how did you make the shiny dots?
the white dots are white liquid pearls. I used stickles on the flowers. The Xs and Os are SU Valentine rubons from a couple of years ago. It was fun making it! I will be making more - to use on scrapbook pages and on cards.
