Default Papertrey fillable frames question

Has anyone tried the Papertrey Fillable stamps and dies? I was wondering how hard it is to line them up. Stamp first then cut, or cut then stamp.....I like the way they look and was thinking about ordering some of them.

I only have one of them. I do love it and it's not hard to line up because the stamps are clear. I cut and then stamp.

I'm with everyone else so far - cut then stamp.

With Spellbinders dies, I stamp, then cut. But I've read that Spellbinders has a patent on dies that are open in the middle, so PTI and everyone else have to make solid dies. That makes it lots harder to stamp the image before cutting. Fortunately PTI's stamps are clear, so you see exactly where you are stamping every time. It would be much harder with wood mounted stamps.

It also helps to have a contrasting color of cardstock under your die cut to make the edges that much more clear.

I just bought from PTI for the first time last month. I purchased the fillable frame and the die. SO SIMPLE to use...very easy to line up. I cut then stamp.

What a great idea, Mary! I usually don't have trouble lining them up, but these eyes aren't gettin' any younger!

I can't really claim to be that clever, Jutta. I think I read it somewhere, but it really helps!
