I have a quick question, is the Paper Craft magazine and the Stamp It magazine (by Paper Crafts) the same thing? I wanted to subscribe to Stamp It but the courtesy cards inside it are for Paper Craft.
Mine always take awhile to arrive. In fact, that is my only complaint about the company.....subscribers don't always get thier mag before the stores.
I can tell you from sorting these for delivery that the subscription size of PaperCrafts is not as large as some crafting magazines.
To get a bigger mailing discount, the printer has to have enough magazines to presort to qualify. Here, Papercrafts comes from the printer presorted with a "muscle car" magazine. And I live in a city of 1.5M. If you live some place smaller, it might get more handlings causing the longer lead time.
I live on the opposite coast and I don't have mine yet either. I thought GA was always the last to get PaperCrafts (and Creating Keepsakes, same people publish them)
Since I have subscribed to Papercraft, I have not gotten 2 of my issues. I've emailed the company both times and they have graciously offered to extend my subscription and additional month for each lost magazine. The only problem is, I wanted the magazine I didn't get. They apparently were "permanently out of stock." I suppose I could go to B&N and get one, but that was, after all, the point in getting a subscription.

Paper Crafts and Stamp It are not the same mags; both are produced by Primedia. They do not currently offer a subscription to Stamp It, and it is available only quarterly (4x per year), whereas PC can be subscribed to and is generally 6 issues annually.
Both publications also feature "special issues" that come out on occasion and are available by ordering via papercraftsmag.com or when you see 'em on the rack at bookstores and stamp/scrap stores.

I believe that the two magazines are by the same company, but they are separate magazines. And I don't think you can subscribe to Stamp It...there wasn't enough interest if I recall.
I have not rcvd mine yet. I usually get mine about 2 weeks after most of the people on here. <sigh> Once of these days, I am going to cave and buy the new one at the store w/ a 40% off coupon.

Magazines ship to retailers different then they do to customers. They both leave the printing plant at the same time. But usually the retail copies are drop-shipped (tricked) through a distribution company to the stores. The subscriber copies need to go through the postal system.
And when you get your mag vs when the retailer gets it depends often on the frequency of the pub.
And while I'm at it, please do your part to never toss out those very important inserted subscriptions cards. Some hard-working copywriter (like me) jumps through hoops to create those. Same goes for renewal notices.

And they make great page markers!
I never really thought about that for a job but I guess someone has to right them.
I e-mailed them because I didn't get the last issue. I was told "This issue is permanently out of stock....."
Regarding seeing issues issue is stores long before I receive my subscription, the response was "Subscribers are offered the convenience of home delivery at a substantial discount."
