The journal kit or the "trial" kit will not be part of the subscription. You can purchase it separately to see what a kit will be like. It is not available yet, but should be available very soon (sometime at the beginning of March). This trial kit will be available for purchase on a customer or workshop order.

No matter when you join, this will be your first kit, because it has a clear block it in that you will need if you don't have any other supplies.
After that we won't know ahead of time what will be in each kit. There is a possibility that there might be journals in the future, but we won't know ahead of time.
