Wink Paper Crafts Surprise?

Yesterday, I found a box from Paper Crafts in my mailbox. It was a small box, nothing I was expecting. I opened it to find note paper, envelopes, patterned paper, and embellishments for 5 cards, along with a DVD offering instruction for those, as well as other techniques. Of course, there was also an ad, but there was also information explaining to those that may not know that it was unsolicited, so we're under no obligation. I don't know about anyone else, but I get absolutely giddy when I get FREE scrapping stuff......even if it is a reletavely insignificant amount .....when it's not expected. Paper Crafts made my day.......okay, so I'm easily amused!!! Did anyone else receive this????

I rec'd one at least 18 months ago that sounds similar except that they were asking to be paid for the dvd should I decide to keep it...even though I never requested that they send me anything...and then several months later, and several months after that I started to receive bills! Others rec'd the same...not sure if anyone paid them since none of us requested it! But hey, free stuff without a catch...sign me up!!! Have fun with your goodies!!!

I, too, received the same thing.

Be sure to read the 'fine print' as they may be looking for you to pay for the DVD should you decide to keep it.

I kept the card kit, but sent the DVD back, in its original packaging.

Same here. I did send the DVD back though and never got any bills or anything. Card kit is cute though! I gave it to my nieces.

Uh oh.....I think my bubble is bursting! The information suggests sending the DVD back so that it can be passed on to others, but it also says that because it's an unsolicited email, we're under no obligation to do so, nor will we be asked to pay anything. We'll see how this plays out.

I received this also. Then they kept sending bills for the DVD. I called and simply told them, I did not order it, did not intend to pay for it and to quit bothering me!

That stopped it!

I kept the DVD, and they sent me bills for 3-4 months afterwards asking me to return the DVD or send payment. I knew that I didn't have to pay for it because I never ordered it in the first place. And get this! The darn thing would not work! I tried it in my computer and my DVD player, and it wouldn't work in either one. I trashed the stupid thing! Mine was sent by Creating Keepsakes, but I'm sure it's the same stupid DVD. It was over a year ago.

Hmmm...just got this yesterday too. I was planning to send the DVD back but maybe I'll even see if it works just for kicks! Does anyone know if the DVD was even any good or helpful? Seemed like it might be kinda basic. I was excited about the little card kit though!

I watched the DVD. It's a bit basic but I caught a couple of interesting things. It was definitely worth watching, imo. Usually, for me, if it's about stamping, I like it!

Thanks for the suggestion - I will definitely check it out (before sending it back!)
