Default Painter's Tape? What is it & where do I buy it?

I saw a really beautiful card in the gallary that used Painter's Tape and was wondering what it is - is it like masking tape? It appears to be very narrow. Where can I buy Painter's Tape?

Thanks,
Glenda

You will find painter's tape pretty much anywhere they sell painting supplies (check your dollar store) Wal-Mart or whatever stores you have near you! It comes in different widths, so have fun playing around! HTH!

I get painter's tape at Home Depot or Lowes.
It is ment to mask and be removable without damaging the underlying surface.
It comes in many different widths and degrees of stickiness so the painter can remove it safely in so many days. The blue tape can be removed in as many as 14 days, but you probably won't need it to lay still for that long!
Try whatever you buy on scrap cardstock to make sure it will come up and not tear your paper.
In the mean time, try sticky notes. For some cards, they work very well, and you can get a torn edge effect with them!
