I always thought House Mouse stamps were cute & had a few of them -- but since recently adopting a precious little pet rat, I'm more interested in mouse/rat stamps than ever.
I get a new House Mouse here & there, as I can --- but does anyone know of any other really nice rat or mouse stamps out there? Oh, and I have a few of the mouse stamps from Mostly Animals - those are wonderful! I may be missing some, but I've got 3 or 4 different ones. (I literally cried when Mostly Animals shut down - LOVED her stamps!!!)
Semi-cute or realistic, either way is fine. I do prefer stamps with some degree of detailing though - not just a ultra-simple "cartoon-kiddy-coloring-book-outline" type of thing.
Just curious to see if I could add a few other nice stamps - my little Riley is such a sweetie, so along with parrots, ferrets, and pigs, now I have to "collect" mouse/rat stamps as well! LOL!
Next to Mickey Mouse, I'd have to say that Sweet N Sassy's Cocoa Mouse is my favorite mouse of all. He's not realistic, but he's adorable, though he might be too "coloring-book" for your taste. (I like that style because it's easier for me to use with my Copics.) Here are a couple of links:
Whiff of Joy has a lot of mouse stamps as well. I've never ordered from them, and they are in Europe, so I'm not sure how the prices and shipping compare, but they sure have some cute stamps.

Wow, thanks so much, everyone! Lots & lots of cute mousies!!! Although I would prefer more detailed images, it doesn't seem like there are very many out there anymore. But some of those are just as cute as can be!!!
I've been "away" from stamping for a few years now - so much has changed & so many of the companies I used to buy from are gone now, and new companies sprung up that I don't know about. (Mostly Animals closed while I was still stamping - but sheesh, even PSX is gone now??? what's the world coming to....) the very first stamp that my sweetie bought for me when I first got interested in stamping was PSX Joanne West's gorgeous victorian-style pig "lady" - beautifully detailed stamp - I used to have a lot of their stamps - they had some beauties!) Prior to our last move, we both had to sell off almost all of our "hobby" stuff, so I'm trying to build up a nice collection again.... Luckily I still have my lovely 'pig-lady' and the other "special" stamps that he specifically picked out himself for me - they're particularly precious to me now since he passed away
Even the "style" of stamps seems to have changed a lot - from lots of heavily detailed intricate artwork to mostly simple outlines only, with a minimum of details. Other than the 'vintage/collage-y' stuff - guess that will be around forever. (I wonder why there seems to be fewer ultra-detailed stamps now???? Have the 'bigger' artists mostly moved on to other fields??)
OMG - I didn't know Penny Black did MICE too -- oh my poor wallet.... I'm already collecting their pigs, and recently started in on the hedgehogs - now I gotta do their mice too! LOL!
Thanks again everyone! (And any/all other mousies/ratties are welcome!
oh my -- thanks Diane!! How did I manage to forget about them! They have some darling pigs too! Oh boy - just found the perfect little mousy guy over there - so between the cute mouse, the pigs I already wanted, and that Andre Alligator I'd picked out already to go with the wonderful "When life gives you gators, make gatorade" stamp that I got from Deadbeat - got a nice order now to put in. Thanks!!!
I love the Penny Black mice - don't mind mice in real life so long as they're not in the house, but prefer cute for my cards.
Rubber Hedgehog are good at more realistic stuff - here's a link for you: Rat and Mouse Rubber Stamps (RubberHedgehog.com)
Sabrina -- I absolutely LOVE YOU!!!!! OMG - I bought stamps from Rubber Hedgehog in the past - but I've been "out of the loop" for so long, I didn't remember them any more!!! (And the stamps I have are UM's so no marks as to where they were bought)
They have some WONDERFULLY realistic stamps -- the 2nd image that showed up on the link you gave me was exactly the sort of thing I was wanting!!! A nice image that looked like a real rat, not just a sketch or cartoon of a rat!
And they have *fifteen pages* worth of FERRETS!!!!!!! *That's* where I got the few nice ferret stamps I already have!
OMG - you are wonderful - this is *exactly* what I was hoping to find!!!!! Not that I don't really like all the "cute" mousies at all the other places - and I'll get some of them too --- but these realistic stamps are what I'd wanted most of all!!!
*** THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU *** for "re-acquainting" me with RubberHedgehog!!! (I'm so glad they're still around after all this time!!!)
I know some folks think "Ewwww!" when you mention rats -- and I certainly don't care for having wild rats get anywhere near my home --- but pet rats are an entirely different story!
Here's my little Riley - now you tell me if that isn't a cute little face or what? He is such a lovable little creature, he loves to be cuddled & held - if he's tired, he'll sometimes just snuggle down in my arms & go to sleep, and he's quite smart (and *curious* beyond belief! LOL!) Just like with ferrets, I had to make sure I did a very thorough job of "baby-proofing" throughout the house, so that he would be safe when he comes out to play. He uses his litter boxes so well - never any 'accidents' in his cage or around the house. Poor little guy was very sick when I got him - pneumonia & myco, but I found an excellent vet who specializes in exotics, so with her help, he's all better now.
Anyway, he's my baby (one of them - I only have two "kids" at the moment - Riley and a sweet spoiled little quaker parrot, Connor) they're both such a joy to have around
He's pretty cute looking, alright! We only ever had pet mice (well, hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils, I mean we never had rats). Do rats have the same smell? I'd totally forgotten it till I was introduced to a friend's gerbils recently and the sharp smell brought back instant memories.
Glad Rubber Hedgehog helps!!
Okay, so those are cute babies. However, I live on a small farm where they are pests because they will help themselves to other animals' food. That would not be so bad if they didn't poop and wee in the food as well. So I have cats. My cats leave the dead bodies all over the place so if you like I could post you some real mice and rats to stamp with...

LOL - we had them in the garden at home where I grew up. My cat was a really keen hunter, and once I moved to a downstairs bedroom I got VERY good at bringing the dead rats she brought to me in the middle of the night out to the garbage without waking up too much. I'd pass on trying to stamp with them though .
My DD has a hairless rat called Eerie who I love to death. SU! had a rat in a Halloween set recently that we had to have even though I can't remember the name nor what else was in that set.
