I'm not sure if this is the correct forum in which to post this, or if it's even allowed! I apologize in advance for any violation I may be committing.
I'm wondering if anybody has done business with ohymcrafts.com and if you can tell me anything about them. (shipping times, customer service, etc.)
I've never dealt with them before, but I'm very curious.
Thanks in advance!

I have ordered from them 3 times: the first two were no problem at all - long shipping times, but I got what I ordered. The last time was several months ago - I have yet to receive my order.
I know there's a thread here somewhere with problems people have had in the past; then they seemed to get their act cleaned up; don't know what's going on at this point.

I have had excellent customer service from them. Quick response on email. Things ship fairly okay when it's in stock. When it's not, it takes awhile. But as soon as they have it in stock, I have gotten it within the week. Credit card is charged at time of order placed, just to warn you. Oh, and they always have 10% off coupon code, in addition to their sales. So be sure to check.
I just ordered the Vagabond and, although they offered free shipping I went ahead and paid $13 extra for UPS. It says "two days transit time" but I don't think that is realistic. ;)
I do hope it comes with a tracking number.

i get stuff (entire cuttlebug alphabhet sets for 3.99) from ebay a lot. Seem to buy large lots of things from last year or so and sell them ridiculously cheap. Have had fine service each time.

I've purchased from them several times and the service is great. They even personally called me when they thought I placed an order twice. It looked like a duplicate but when my mom heard about my great deals, she wanted the same items so I placed it again. I appreciated the call. Shipping to Canada is decent and the time frames are as well. I hope this helps.

Ted, if you don't mind my asking...how much did they charge you for the Vagabond? Just curious. thank you!
Karen, it came out to be $192 since I paid $12 for UPS shipping and thereby get it faster. Yeah, that was a mistake.
It's been a full business week and I haven't even received a shipping notice from them. "Heather" said it would ship out either yesterday or today.
I'm not happy with this first impression.
I don't know much about this particular product but if it was an exceptional price and something in high demand, they might have lots of orders to fill before yours. So is it really fair to expect it to be out the door the same or next day? Unless they guaranteed you it would be, that's another story. Once it does leave the shop though you'll still get what you paid for with the expedited shipping. It will still get there quicker than regular shipping once it leaves the building.
On their site it says (red & bold emphasis mine):
Orders are typically shipped within 3-5 BUSINESS days via the shipping option you select. US address orders: Please allow at least 5-7 days after shipping for your package to arrive. International orders are shipped via USPS Global Priority mail or Airmail Parcel Post. Please allow 6-9 days after shipping for your package to arrive. Please realize that some items in high demand may take a few extra days. Also, check the listing description for any exceptions or anticipated delays in shipping your product. Please note that orders are charged at the time they are placed on the website.

No, I don't expect it to be out the door the same or next day. I don't recall saying that.
However, had she said, "It will go out Monday or Tuesday of next week," then I'd wait patiently. She said, "I expect it to go out Thursday or Friday." Heck, even if she replied on Friday and said, "Well, I checked and I'm afraid it's not going out until Monday." then at least I'd have something.
I certainly don't wish anything bad for this company... I like to hear of successful business stories! But if I'm a company and tell a first-time customer something... and then don't deliver on it, it's going to leave a sour first impression.
My first-time customer would not be happy... but my competition? They'd be thrilled. ;)
I'm glad to hear many people have had success with them. But I also hear of shipping issues with them. It was my own fault for not doing more research on this company. Hopefully, I won't make the same mistake with them again.

Sorry, didn't mean to put words in your mouth! I see what you mean about them being vague. I can certainly see your point on that. Hopefully your order will hit the road soon. While I love a lot of the deals I see online, it takes away the instant satisfaction of seeing it, touching it, buying it, and taking it home the same day to play with.

And I certainly apologize for being snappy with you.
I need to learn patience (especially with shipping times!)
I guess I'm just eager to get my hands on it.
I mean... I'm a guy. It's a toy... WITH A MOTOR! ;)
In the eternal words of Tim Allen..... RRRRRRrrraaaarrrrr. ;)

They do have a phone number, so I may try calling them. Perhaps voice-to-voice may matter.
This company intrigues me...they get more PR for lousy service than companies get for excellent service. They have the honor of being the only name on my "DO NOT USE' list. Inconsistency seems to be their primary asset. If you should decide to cancel the purchase and request a credit on your card, plan for that to take a lot longer than the non-delivery of the Vagabond.

Good luck! Let us know when (if) it arrives.
I think we tend to remember the complaints more than the kudos. I read a lot about this company on SC before I placed my first order. I didn't do an official count at the time, but I thought I found more positive feedback than negative. Interesting how we perceive things.
I guess I'm lucky. I have never had bad service from this company and between my mother and I, we placed over a dozen orders in the past 1.5 years since taking up this lovely yet addicting vice :-) Hopefully that will continue for me (and others).

Well, I have to give credit to Heather, the Customer Care Manager. My emails (sometimes "heated") were NEVER ignored and she remained patient and gracious with me.
I received an email saying it's on its way and will be here Wednesday.
*keeping fingers crossed*
