Oh, My Crafts
I placed an order April 6th and it hasn't been shipped yet? Does that seem odd to anyone else or are they always slow in shipping? They say its processed but not shipped??

Oh Honey, I am soooooooooo ticked with them. I ordered 4 embossing folders on March 20th. Took me over a week to get 2 folders and news that 2 were backordered. UGH! That's what I like about creativeXpress........they tell you right on their site if they have them.
I'm STILL waiting. In fact, I ordered The Swiss Dots from creativeXpress and already have it. I will NOT be ordering from Oh My Crafts again.
I've ordered several times from Oh MY Crafts without any problems. The new Cuttlebug folders have been very popular and have heard of other companies not having them in stock after you've ordered them.
Kathy I would email them and ask about what is going on with your order.

It took more than 3 weeks to get my order of CB folders (I ordered 8!) from OMC as well... Next time I will purchase from someone else who has a mechanism in place to track inventory before one orders...

I too had problems with my order of 8 Cuttlebug folders. I received my order with 3 showing as backordered. That was ok but with the original order, I received two of the same folder. When I emailed them I was told it was their error and they would send me the correct folder and I could keep the duplicate folder. I wrote back to ask when the folder would ship that was missing I got no response. Today I received the folders that were on backorder but not the folder that was missing from the original order where there was a duplicate. I'll have to write again tomorrow and see if they will straighten it out.

Gee, wish I would have known this before. Oh, well hopefully this thread will help someone else.

I just sent them a second email inquiring as to the status of my 3 folders that I haven't received yet, even though I placed my order on 3/21/08! I understand back orders, but this is getting ridiculous! I know people who have ordered them from other places last week and have already received them! I don't want to be a pain, but I'm getting cranky! ;)

I'm disappointed with these guys as well. I placed my order at the beginning of March and just received it the other day with two items backordered. I wish I knew when placing the order that they didn't have stock because I would have ordered from somewhere else instead of waiting 5 weeks to find out they didn't have it.
There are some other threads here somewhere where people are cautioned about ordering from OMC. A lot of unhappy people out there with this company.

THERE SHIPPING IS VERY SLOW, I FIGURED IT WAS BECAUSE THEY ARE IN U.T. AND I AM IN N.Y.
I WAS SO HAPPY TO FIND THE CUTTLEBUG EMBOSSING FOLDER "SWISS DOTS" THAT I DID ORDER THROUGH THEM, BUT I NOT SURE I WILL ANYMORE.
i placed an order last month. i know the folders are EXTREMELY popular, but somewhere on the site i should have been told that the folders i ordered were not in stock. they were a GREAT price, but all the more reason to notify that there's a back order. i could have made a decision whether i wanted to wait or not. i only got 2 of the eight folders i ordered.
i received an email from OMC [after i sent a query] that they were on back order, would be in and shipped 'soon'. again, a missed opportunity to address the real issue - no backorder notification.
i'm *im*patiently waiting for the rest of my order. don't know yet whether i'd order again. i'm sure it's a very nice business, with a very nice owner - but an apology for my wait could have made a BIG difference in my attitude.
I did send them another email today <sigh>. No reply yet.

Carrie - i'm sure they're getting tons of emails. it took a day or two for her to answer mine. this is what they sent; they didn't address my query regarding why their site didn't note the back ordered items prior to ordering.

I don't think they are the only company having problems getting the new cuttlebug folders, but I am waiting for 3 also. My problem with them has been resolved in a timely manor. I hope that they are getting feedback that will help them understand that their customers are unhappy and they are taking steps to improve their service.
If there were other issues BESIDES the provocraft cuttlebug products, I think I'd be more concerned. The fact is, Provocraft is at fault for these shortages. I do not understand their system of apparently favoring some vendors and letting others cool their heels waiting for product. It really isn't fair to a lot of vendors.
That said, though, I rarely order from sites that don't show whether or not the product is in stock. Well, unless it's a preorder situation, lol. Maybe if enough people suggest that to online vendors they'd get the message and try to fix their shopping cart programs.
