Oh dear ... like Alice, I'm slipping into Wonderland...
First I was a loyal, 100% CM scrapbooker.
Then I started playing aroaund with this stamping thing, but decided to commit only to SU. "Let's keep my life simple," I thought.
Then it was Bellas ... oh gosh, I had to have that cosmobella, then there was grumpabella and more.
Then I had to read about how everyone was coloring their Bellas with Gamsol & Prismas ... of course, I had to shell out the bucks to get every Prisma that coordinated with SU colors.
Hmmm...cute $1 stamps at Joann's? Had to run out and add a few Rhonna Farrer pieces to my growing collection.
Next I read a post about Queen & Co. brads, jumped to that website and just about died on the spot. Must. Have. Cute. Brads!
OK... I'm fully addicted to SCS by this point, and reading Julie's CHA blog.
Ohhhhh... moaaannn....mmmmmmm...look at those delicious papers and ribbons from DCWV ... and those new Autumn Leaves stamps ...
All I can say at this point is, "thank God I'm not into this cuttlebug thing" ... ummm, at least not yet! ;)

Funny comments! I can totally relate! I do leave the scrapbooking to my sister who is queen of that realm, so I guess as an exclusive cardmaker, I'm only half way to Wonderland. I did see a really cute white rabbit stamp the other day...LOL!

Arrgghhhh, that's what I thought too. I don't know where that box sitting on my table that says "Cuttlebug" came from, honest!!! Must resist taking it out of the box and then feeling the pressure to buy more and more accessories for the bug..... __________________

What a bunch of enablers!!! I, too, am addicted, but let me offer some advice: don't buy it just because the whole world (the world being those of us here on SCS) says it's great, buy it because you think it's great! I try not to buy something unless it's a necessity or I have fallen head-over-heals in love with it! Of course, sometimes I find I fall in love way too easily...

My scrapbooking started in the late seventies when I was in Junior High. They were post bound and I used rubber cement. GADS! I jumped on the Creative Memories bandwagon in 1994 or 95 and promptly remade old college albums, then baby albums, kids' albums. It was great and I loved all of it. I never understood the whole stamping craze. I wouldn't stamp in my books because I didn't think it was archivally safe. And, why buy a stamp you can only use once. Little did I know. A scrapbooking friend became a SU demo in about 2002. Now I'm 4 years behind in scrapping and my hands are always ink stained. I have a 7 and 9 year old who think stamping is the best so we can this together. I would never let them near my scrapbooks.
Anyway.........obsessed to put it mildly.

Ooooh, this reminds me, I better get home before DH tonite, just in case the package from Stampinscrapinsomethingorother that I was forced into buying from is there!!! LOL, we got it bad my friends!

I got my package shipped to my office so I could sneak it in...LMBO! It was only $24, but I just couldn't take him seeing another box since I just got one from SU! |
