New to uploading

Last night I did my FIRST UPLOAD! I don't know what I've been waiting for. I've been a SU Demo for 4+ years and love it. I have met so many great people through stamping. I do have a question... How do you upload your photos? I had a hard time getting my image correctly positioned. I took the pic with my dig. camera and they tried to upload from there. It has to be a lot easier than I was making it.
