Default New Papertrey Stamp Set

I just got an email from Papertrey about a new stamp set for December.

The name is "Stroke Speak". I think that is such an unfortunate name. Why in the world would they give that name to a stamp set? It has sentiments in different brush strokes, so I guess that is the connection.

I have a close family member who is struggling to recover from a stroke, and cannot speak.

Very poor choice for a name, in my opinion.

I totally agree. Weird choice.

If the style of the lettering is brushstrokes, why couldn't they just name the set, 'Brushstrokes Speak'?

I also have an acquaintance who is struggling to recover from a stroke.

Unfortunate choice of a name. Someone wasn't paying attention when they named it.

I worked in a retirement home for 26 years before I retired. I had seen many people who suffered from effects of a stroke. This name is just plain bad judgement.

I have to agree. I suffered a stroke 5 years ago and when I heard the name of this set my first thought was not about brush-strokes. I'm sure they meant no harm but definetly weren't thinking when they named it.

I think they are all too young to think about people who have had a stroke. It's actually a neat idea, but they should have named it Brushstroke Speak.
