It was announced and shown to the demo's for Su but not available until July 1st. From what I understand SU did not the information disclosed until July 1st...
My goodness............. stampin up finally listened and has created markers in the IN COLOURS!!! I am amazed. check the second link and you can see the IN COLOR Markers.
How would you like to pay $14.95 for the ribbon, plus 10% for the shipping and 13 % tax which makes it $18.58 Canadian for a spool of ribbon. I don't think so , I know I won't be buying it.
i do believe the $17.95 is the price for the 'pre-order' for DEMOs...
i think the 'retail' price will be a bit more.
That, I am not sure about, our additional discount is on stamp sets only, not accessories. So that may be the actual price. Hmmm but 3.25x6=19.50 so now I'm not sure. I guess we'll all be waiting to see that catty demos and customers alike

Our extra discount is just on stamp sets and the special bundle, not the accessories or markers. So the markers will be $17.95 US.
Since someone has felt the need to post the demo preorder, I think it is important to clarify some things. The stamp sets are listed at our 20% off preorder discount so they will be more expensive in the regular catty. The accessory prices should all be the same in the regular catty. And, before anyone gets too excited about an in color bundle know that last year this was offered to demos only, and we have not been told that they will be offering a bundle to customers this year.
Okay, let's try this again. I am quite sure that the 6 In Color markers are being sold as a "bundle" to the demos and will only be sold individually to customers at a (slightly) higher cost. Almost makes you want to become a demo, now, doesn't it? And I am not a demo (yet)!

We were not told this was a special price so I would assume that it will be offered to customers in that form. But, we won't know for sure until we get the new catty.
I'm sure that is the price for the markers - and in the US our markers are $3.25 so it is cheaper than buying individually (I don't know anything about the individual availability of in color markers I was just sharing a mathematical point). I LOVE SU!s markers much better than other waterbased markers. Before becoming a demo, I tried some Le Plume's to color in parts of a stamp and huffed and the ink just stayed right on the stamp so that definitely made me more appreciative!
You have to take into account the amount of ribbon on the roll, though. In the current catty, the in-color striped ribbon is $9.95 for approx. 15 yards of ribbon. That comes out to about 67 a yard. When Michaels has their patterned ribbon on sale for $1.50 a spool, I think there's usually 3 yards at the most on it. Which makes the SU not that much more expensive.
Although 15 yards is a LOT of ribbon - you could always team up with two friends, each order 2 colors, divide each spool into 5 yard pieces and for $20 you'd have 5 yards of each of the 6 colors.

Not only that...but it's great quality ribbon...when you compare it to that bought at the big stores, it's a lot nicer.

Yes, that, too
When Joann's and Michaels first go those adorable little rolls of scrapbooking ribbon for $1, I was ready to go hog-wild and buy up a whole mess of it. Until I saw that each of those cute little rolls only held a yard of ribbon. Not really a deal unless it's absolutely perfect for a card that you're only going to make 1 or 2 of.
Thanks, for sharing the new colors. I have all the paper, ink and markers from the original color groups. I do not have any of the past or current In Colors, so I had a quick question.
For the In Colors, I understand that if you like the color to purchase the pad and refill. What about the paper? Is it only available while that In Color is available? Can you order is say, a year later?

Yes the paper is available only during that year, not later.

The In Colors are available for one full year and then they retire. Since the new colors will be available in July, they will be available until July 2010.
