Default Needing help with Martha Stewart Punch

I was wondering if someone could tell me how I can get the Martha Stewart round the corner punches to fit my paper -- I have the instructions and the cobweb punches and I am still ending up with bits un punched or over punched. I have even cut my pieces of card to the sizes in the instructions and it still does not work -- I am doing my corners first as well. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Kim xxx

I have a few of the Punch Around the Page punches by MS. And I have noticed that you have to have exact measurements that are listed in the instructions for them to work correctly. Even being off just a hair does make a difference. You are right about punching the corners first --and then go back and line up with the side punches.
Not sure this helps ---but sounds like it is just a little off with your measurements.
Good Luck!! Oh ---and I have wasted alot of cardstock trying to do the same -
so you are not alone!! Think it takes patience and practice!

It took me quite a bit of practice to get the hang of using these punches and I still sometimes have to do them several times over to get it right. Having the right size of paper is important, but really for me it took the practice to get them lined up and I still haven't quite mastered it with anything bigger than the smallest size where it is just punching the corners and then one time with the border.

Thank you ladies for replying -- I am guessing my measurements are out like you said. I am not 100% on all the inches messurements. I am going to have to see if I can find something on the internet that tells me where 3.25" is on the ruler -- I know where the 3 is but the .25 -- I am not sure .... thanks again

yes - you have it right. Like everyone else, I have had to practice with these a lot. Measuring as exactly as possible seems to be the key.

I was taught to start on the corners first. Then do along the sides last.

It works much better that way.
