Default Need Valtentines Ideas

Hi All!
I'm new to splitcoast and new to SU! I'm trying to plan my first workshop (January) and it was suggested I do a valentines "treat". Something other than a card or scrapbook page. Any suggestions? Any other place I should try for suggestions? Thanks in advance!

The 2,4,6,8 boxes are so cute, super simple and could be easily filled with candy. Here's a great tutorial on AmyR's blog: 2,4,6,8 Box Tutorial

maybe the small hershies in wrappers?
At my first workshop we did 2 chocolates in a bag. We stamped the bag topper with the "a balanced diet is a chocolate in each hand", the girls loved them. I'm sure the amazing ladies on here will have lots of ideas for you. did you check out the anything but a card gallery?

Default Hersheys & candy bags

Thanks for the info. I don't know how to do Hershey's wrappers or what you mean by bag toppers. I also don't know where to find ideas other than the card gallery. I just got on this website today and joined SU! a few days ago, so I'm pretty green! Thanks for your help!

You have just hit the motherlode by becoming a member here at SCS Welcome to the world of rubberstamping addicts - oops, I mean... LOL!

You can click on gallery, then under gallery there are different headings. Check them ALL out, but for some innovative ideas go to Anything but a card. Be ready to set aside a whole day just ogling the beautiful creations in this one little area

OR use the search mechanism under gallery. Type in words of the project you are describing and watch what pops up I just did an example "valentine containers" - click on this link and check them out. You can put any other word combination in the search mechanism and you never know what you will find.

Have fun and you should probably schedule a vacation for the next week or two just so you can delve into the amazing projects here at SCS

I did a workshop with sour cream containers. They were a big hit. My friend was so excited, she ordered extra stuff to make Christmas containers for her daughter's school. Good luck.

Once for Sunday school we made up a "Hearts Aplenty" box that was up on the Ideas section of the Stampin' Up website. They stamped hearts on the box and then we filled it with red crinkled paper and then some chocolates.

It came out really cute.

You do this by inking up a background stamp and "kissing" a solid image stamp to it. Or you can do the reverse, and ink up your solid image stamp and "kiss" it to and uninked background stamp. You will transfer the pattern on your background!

at my next workshop we are filling cello bags with white hot chocolate powder and adding cinnamon hearts. The bag toppers say love potion and are stamped with hearts and glittered. The instructions say add one cup hot, steamy water and the recipient of this bag will instantly fall in love with you.

The bag topper is when you take a little treat bag (like at the craft store) and stamp a piece of paper, approx. 3"x5". Fold it in half and staple/attach with eyelets to the top of the bag. Did this for my sister's bridal shower and filled with mini-cookies, everyone loved them!
