Default Need something similar to the Top Note die

I'm in the process of making a list of some Christmas cards that I'd like to make. There are a couple that I've seen that use the SU Top Note die. Unfortunately, I don't have that yet, actually just bought the Big Shot and a couple embossing folders, so I don't have much yet.

I was just wondering if there was maybe a Cricut die that had a similar shape? And if so, which cart and what size would I cut it so that it was roughly the same size as the Top Note die?

Don't know about the Cricut, because I don't have one. I do own the Spellbinders Labels 8 die set, which you can use in your Big shot. It has several sizes of dies, and is a lot like the Top Note. Here it is for a pretty good price at Overstock:

In addition to Labels Eight, Spellbinders has a couple more beautiful rectangular shaped Labels.

If you have the Cricut, I'm sure you could find a free svg you can download to use...

You are right - those are both lovely. Need to make a Christmas list!

OP here. I went to Michael's earlier today to look for some embossing folders for the Big Shot. I did find 2 that I liked but I'm looking for more Christmas/Winter themed ones. Does Michael's normally carry more wintery folders as the season gets closer?

I also saw a Tim Holtz die that looks very similar to the Top Note die. I
saw that there was a 40% sale sign and got really happy until I saw the small letters that said, "except Tim Holtz". ARRGGHH!!! And I didn't have any coupons on me either.

Yes, there is a Cricut cartridge similar to what you may be looking for. It is the Cricut cartridge called Storybook.
And since it is a cartridge you can adjust the size.
I hope this helps.

Thanks for letting me know. And I happen to have that cartridge too. I'll have to take a look tomorrow when I get into my stuff. But truthfully, I just sent my demo an email with an order and I just HAD to throw the Top Note in that order. There are just way too many things that I like that use it.

I don't think Mike's updates embossing folders, At least the ones I go to don't, what you see is what you get,

Cricut Storybook and Elegant Edges have similar cuts to the top note die. Good luck!

The Art Philosophy Cartridge by Close to My Heart has a similar shape. The cart is filled with versatile images for card making.

How many die cuts would you be needing? I have the top-note and would be happy to cut some for you.

I am so glad that you are getting the die. I don't have it but I can use the Storybook cartridge and also I have now something similar to the SU top note.

Thank you for your offer. I appreciate all the SCS's very much!

The Top Note die is one of my very favorites. Have fun with it. For future reference, there is the MyCutSearch.com website. Put in the shape/item you are looking for and it shows the different carts that have that shape and on what page it is located in the handbook for that cart.
